Better yet, Logan also seems to realize that they are in real danger without enough crew members and despite what he has gone through he gets up, puts on his gear, drives over and ultimately saves the day. Logan knew that his team still needed him and he stepped up to the plate.

It's more of a "the person who can hold himself together in such a situation is not a person to mess with, they've seen worse than the worst and they are still here. They are badass," type of statement. It's not always about psychosis or mental breakage. Usually that refers to the person who is not ok, aka the person who just was defended, in this case Logan. It also involves empathy, respect, boundaries, and giving people space, as well as time. It's actually healthy for the person who is hurting, and a reminder that some things are worse and some people aren't easily trifled with. Also, if the hurt person was ok, then asking in such a vehement manner is not smart, aka be careful what you wish for. That was a lot to explain the statement, but there you go.
Think of it like this: if you were in an extreme 'worse than most' type of scenario that would break someone, and you had seen worse and were calm or said "meh," and were able to coherently handle the situation, would people be wondering why you're calm, or would they think of you as psychotic?
