sigh, i miss the old days, i remember the old way they did mystery gift, never gonna forget how awesome we used to have this stuff, and its kinda sad that we're gonna be leaving our dual screen pals soon, im just gonna say, to the DS, and 3DS, thank you for all the memories, the revival of our two favorite brothers 2d adventures, a new way to see the worlds fastest hedgehog, our favorite little hero riding on a boat, a train, and through different worlds, a new take on a simply *smashing* experience, great way to see a pink puff ball go on even more adventures, more wacky fun with wario, the revival of the rivalry between a plumber and a ape, being able to take our towns on the go, continuing the story of the mega man, giving us a new way to play old games with virtual console, but mostly the experiences we had, collecting, trading, saving, battling, and playing with our friends who will withstand the test of time, all 802 of them, whether it be Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, or Alola, whether it be playing as a one of their kind, going on crazy adventures, having the showdown of legends. Theres one series i'll never tire of, or never forget because of you DS, Pokemon, you singlehandedly took our hearts, and still are, your lifespan may be coming to an end, but your hours of laughs, tears, friendship, anger, and *fun* will never end. Thank you DS, i love you.

Ian Schimnoski I was in the same boat for quite a while during Gen’s 4 & 5 of not having internet. Didn’t have WiFi in our home till Gen 6 after begging my parents to invest in a plan and set up the router lol

I have gotten most of the xy gifts but honestly the first time I heard this song was while transferring old buddies from firered to platinum. of course I wanted my "poke family" all together, but I would hear this and know.....transferring would mean no turning back...forever. I hear this and I hear how it "sounds" like the transfer is more than just going someplace new. it sounds like an ascension into a new life, a new beginning, one where you will be lifted up into someplace somewhere you will become so much more. *sheds tear*...and that's why I love glitchxcity's music. she takes a song, any song, and blesses it with even more "voice" and feeling than it ever had originally.

I remember me and an old friend used to get excited every time we found a Mystery Gift. We didn't realise there was a list on the internet (we were both very new to Pokemon) so we got extremely excited when we found Victinis, MewTwos and Darkrais on there :')

it sounds like something out of sonic colors...maybe like a planet wisp variation. The high piano background gives it such an upbeat, almost hopeful feel, yet the low bass tones (at times) keep us rooted as we listen. When they're not playing, its so floaty and wispy (yes i went there) that you cant help but getting swept away. Im amazed at how you took a 30 second or so theme and turned it into a song that is so...beautiful. there's no other word for it
and on that note (oops) , ill just say, i was expecting this to sound even more like elevator music. im so glad it didnt.

Zer0: I've always enjoyed the mystery gift theme. It's one of those pokemon tunes that really relaxes me and makes me smile for some reason. Maybe the idea that it often brings with it a gift of a new pokemon or event for more fun adventures to unfold is one of the reasons. Heck I use the theme for my channels update video's. To make them feel more like a surprise gift.
