Just watched the video and I'm sold too, I can't remember ifbyou had the adjuster extenders, if you do have you any idea on the size of the hole to drill for them?
good afternoon, very good video thank you presenting The extension that the rear shock absorbers have, I see that you make a hole with a drill that's like the rear cabin Do you have a photo of how it looks? to be able to do the same thank you so much best wishes jaime
Great video, Colin, and I’m super interested in these coilovers too now! I’d love to see you post a follow up after having them on for awhile. I’m going for smaller wheels and thicker tires in my r56 too, so these sound like they could be a great match for that!
Smaller, lighter wheels make a huge difference in road handling as well as ride comfort. I have already been to the track with them since installing them and they are incredible. Have a look at my Instagram for a sneak peek.
For that style of adjuster, yes. I think I have seen other brands that have the adjustment knobs on the bottom of the suspension but these have to go inside the car.
Hey Colin, what profile tires do you have on there? I've just switched from 17" wheels to 15" with 175/65 and the ride difference is amazing (not to mention a huge weight saving from the 17's)
My track tires are a 205/50/15 on a 7 inch wide wheel. It’s a slightly undersized setup for the car but still very light which is a big contributor to ride quality in our small cars.
I just got on board with this channel, I gotta say I love the content! Did you have to run the manual swap with a manual ecu or can you make due with the automatic ecu ?
Always LOVE the style of your videos, really chill and makes me watch again and again
👏🏻 Thank you
You sold me on the coilovers!!!you sold me on the custom BC coilovers! Going to have to get a set for my R53! Keep up with the great videos!
They are really great, I’ve been very impressed with them. Thanks 🤙🏻
Enjoyed seeing some of the prep leading up to race day!
Yeah, I’m pretty behind on uploads 😬
@@collinryser, that’s okay. You’ll get caught up. There were, shall we say, distractions!

How did you make taking those struts out look so easy? Also would be cool to see a video of her on track with the coilovers.
That video will come soon, follow my Instagram for a sneak peek 🤙🏻

Is the only way to fit the rear coilovers with the adjusters to drill through?

The ECU can be programmed instead of being replaced. Ben’s Bimmer Services on Facebook offers the programming as a service.
@@collinryser that’s great to hear, I got to try it out. Thank you
