My band @Cole Hollow had the honor of opening for The Blue Stones in Peoria, IL. They are such cool and humble dudes. They gave us a shout out while they were on stage and it was the coolest moment of my musical career. They are an amazing band and It really blows my mind how good they sound live.
I hear ya! My buddies and I had a band and played a few gigs around Toronto, mostly to rooms full of around 50 friends or so. One day about five years ago, we get a call to play a small bar gig and open for a band with a new album dropping. Turns out it's The Blue Stones. Holy shit, did they blow our minds! We didn't know them beforehand, but by the end of the night we couldn't believe we were playing the same room as them. In a small room, these guys are absolutely electric, huge energy in a crowd. Been a big fan ever since that one gig, and I see them whenever I get the chance!

Am getting a lot of cool inspirations from the Blue Stones, who I only just discovered today, and also Nothing but Thieves. But the idea of actually making something of it and gigging a bunch sounds like a conflicting beatdown when trying to imagine doing it alongside a thriving day job career.

No way there are just two of them. So, so well done! Their music feels so caressing somehow. My friends are awesome, but one of the best moments in our holiday was when I was just alone in the blue lit swimming pool with the Blue Stones in the background. I've never felt so chill in my life.
