Is it just me, or has Dale gotten considerably faster in the last year? No slight intended on you VanCan, but both of you guys (and Dangerous Dave) genuinely scare me about as much as Remy and Yohann do!
i made it up to cypress this summer. my take away was that the trails are almost a full category under rated. lol. most of the blacks seemed like double blacks... more so than any of the other two north shore mountains. you guys are so skilled that you almost make it seem like the tails are over rated.! great riding and great video nic!
Ridden Cypress only a few times and I couldn't agree more. Cypress is a full step above the other two mountains and every trail feels under rated in difficulty lol
Yeah Nick cause my friends have screws loose they decided to knock on my door at 8 AM this morning thinking. it would be a great. idea for us to go Street riding in the pouring rain with a wet leaves on the ground so the title of this video it’s quite fitting Spent a couple. of hours riding decided to come home at 11am I value my life too much😂😂
Great riding as always. Might want to bolt/bearing check you rig Nick @VanCan, something doesn’t sound quite right (2:40 -2:55 as example - there are ticking sounds that sound like they are coming from your bike). It goes throughout the video but you don’t hear it all the time. Either that or your BB is shot from those drops that came up short 😜
Stairs of death 3:45 have always been the most challenging part of this trail. Often skipped by the "new school" ride around... Cameras can't do the exposed, off camber, looseness of this section enough justice. And that tree 4:17 on the second part just gets in the way...
"New lines are always scary" I need to be scared that's what I'm after. Some can't understand and I'm sorry for them 😂 (I shouldn't they won't be sorry when I inevitably crash)
Pink bike would hate this
It’s not technical enough right? Too boring… 🤦♂️ you’re just bumbling down the trail
Yup, just another RUclipsr who isn’t a high end pro rider and is bumbling down the trail 😂. He’s bumbling along better than i ever could though!
Loam Ranger needs to go touch grass😂
@@danielfloyd9742 as much as i hate Loam ranger videos, the dude had a point.
Gigabytes and gigabytes....
Yes, yes, let the rage consume you Nic. 😈
😡
Love the vids with Dale and Dave, gnar guaranteed!

No slight taken, Dale is very fast and has won local races - I'd be stoked to even break top 10.
Nice ride. Love that Canadian bravery.
No knee pads, no problem🤘Light Duty Dale? Next level is an understatement 🤙
If Dale's nickname isn't Smooth Operator, it should be. His riding style is like surfing down a stick of butter.
🏄♂🧈
Nice drop n turn at 11:40
That's an awful lot of high-quality, bumbling down the trail, going on.... Was this bumbling approved by Qinney & Kaz?
I think Quinney and Kaz should be Mtb RUclips censors. They have to approve any/all videos before made available for public consumption
Great job of taking your time and making sure you could make it. Thank you for sharing.

Ah so disappointing that hardtail madlad wasn’t joining you guys for the ride lol. Anyway an awesome ride as always Nick
You guys are technical wizards.
But you knew that.
That creaking would drive me mad! 😂
Many rain and mud rides - I’ll clean it soon 😅
@@VanCan Know that feeling! Get the grease out too!
Thanks for the camera breakdown!
That was awesome, thanks for sharing 👍
Which model of gloves are you wearing in this video?
Can’t wait for the new chilcotin build!
knowing how good you are, and not riding a feature: is all I need to know for what the camera is making look like a "Oh I could ride that" line haha
I can smell the rotors burning from here 😃
😂😂 van can ran 700mm rotors front and rear for this trail 😂😂
Figured there would be more endorphin riding already! Haha
That was Noel’s bike , I had to give it back! Ha
Why the time away from the bike Nic? Injury? Other commitments? Or just a mental reset?
Briefly had the plague
absolute smashing

It’s the one up tool, my headset won’t stay tight paired with the Shimano cassette and winter.
@@VanCan i dont understand, somethings wrong if it wont stay tight
Your Fox helmet….do you leave the cheek pads in ????
Sick!
It's weird seeing you nervous about stuff. It must be insanely sketchy
Cool cool gnar gnar dude
How do you even know where the trail goes? Great riding but I'll stick to road! :)
It's pretty much the same, the faster you go the further you look ahead.
I hope you do look ahead on the road too 😂🤘
The entrance to the steps has definitely changed. Your line is the go to at the moment but will change again for sure.

That was insane I crashed about 37,674 times 😎✌️
Superb bumbling
What be creaking so much?? Amazing vid BTW!
Drive train. Did many rain mud rides and no maintenance 😅

Im not loving the ultrawide, no offense. I think if you bring it in a bit more in editong it would look a lot more natural/real.
First😼
A lot of creaking in that bike 😑
Shimano cassettes get creaky in the wet weather
Interesting... nothing from my XT cassette lately @@VanCan
