I loved this conversation as those in the past. Right now! I'm riding pretty much solo, since the Pandemic. Friends don't want to go anywhere or do anything, they're happy @ home and I must respect that. There are two important things I've learned about friendship. #1 Don't always agree, if I 'm wrong, then say so & explain. That's a 💯 real friend. #2 If we're real friends, there's no need to compete with me. I've seen it happen & it's not pretty. That's not a real friend & I had to let them go. Growing up friendships were with your cousins, I don't know what happened, it's okay. I'm enjoying life, whether it's traveling, theater, movies , going to breakfast, taking a nice walk & reading a good book & attending worship. Enjoying my own company is cool 😎. I've learned to respect other ppl's boundaries & they respect mind. Sure, they'll say you shouldn't do this or that & I smile 😊 & say you're always welcome to come and go. I'm not going to allow others to stop me from enjoying life.

This is good ladies, even though I'm a social person, my circle is small as a dot. I love the fact you mentioned about asking if someone has the space. It's so easy to dump on a person and mentally there not ready. Keep some things to yourself. Point Blank Period.

I wish I had friends like you guys. Each of you shares different ways, that’s what make you great friends. I had a friend of 30 years not going into details I had to cut her lose. I was able to forgive, but will never be friends again. It hurts me to my heart. I’ve become very untrustworthy, It’s so hard to trust. My friend now is me, my bed and Netflix.
It's like that sometimes, and you grow apart. It's sad to let people go after so long but it may be necessary for the sake of your peace. I do hope you will a friend that you can trust in the future but Netflix will do for now. 😉❤️
Thank you for sharing that, I had a friend that was like a sister to me we had the best times together. But a few years ago she treated me so bad, it did hurt but I moved on. We haven't talked on the phone in a few years. We on text when it our birthday. I love her like a sister and miss our time together.

A lot of the problem is with women being a best friend are some act fake & just be insecure, or jealous of other women because a man/woman doesn't want them anyway.

On the other hand I’m in a relationship with my my bf. We also have been friends for 30 years. Now we have 3 beautiful children and are planning to get married.

At this point for my happiness,i have started to step away from certain friendships,I'm at a point where i feel I'm rebirthing and alot of people cannot come with me.
My best friend has been my friend for 32yrs. My sister is also my best friend. But the new friends I have God sent them because I don’t do new friends. Nor do I get a long with women to well. So all of my friends are tomboys.

On the topic of having men friends, I'm the female friend. Once my guy friend, (known since 3rd grade and have stayed platonic) got married, I stepped back b/c I thought about how I would feel. We still talk from time to time, but not like we used to.
Since childhood and now as an adult it is so very hard for me to make friends, call anyone a friend, or consider myself as anyone else friend. So I'm just up in here friendless! Kmsl! 😄😆🤣

My grandfather told me a long time ago that a males best friend should be a female and a females best friend should be a male .. So I think it's cool
