Man I Bought The Physical Copy Of Goblin Slayer Nightmare Feast And Now I Find Out I'm Going To Have To Buy The American Version Because The Game Developers Are To Lazy To Add English Subtitles To The Japanese Version.
Agreed I wish physical and digital, Nintendo required all multi regional games to have all the languages. Most do, but sometimes they don’t and it’s sucks everyone should have the same game with all available languages on it
The same thing happened to the Assault Suit Leynos Saturn Tribute for Switch. Now I don't know when the westeren releases is, but the Japanese version used to be listed as multi language with English. Now I have to wait to play it in English, likely its going to be more expensive than the Japanese release too...
I would never condone it if there was wrong doing. I would have cancelled my affiliation with Red Art Games immediately if I sensed any kind of BS from them.
Thanks, Jordan. Decided to try out SRPGs (never played one before), and am currently going through Triangle Strategy and having a great time with it. Figured I'd give this one a shot too even though I have no knowledge of the source material and grabbed the ESRB "special edition" from VGP using your link. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up on the story quickly enough (or maybe I'll locate the anime online and give it a watch beforehand).
RedArt going the LimitedRun way of things it seems. The Deluxe edition is only 500 copies and the only one that has the sound tract but the $72 collectors edition does not. I’d rather have that OST than the acrylic stand , sticker, keychains or what have you.
Red Art Games does seem like they would try to work out a problem like that and from the sounds of it they absolutely have. I like them a lot so I'm glad to hear headway was made. I'm definitely happy however this is getting a western print as it really seemed like a shame for it to not. Preordering this ASAP, now the question is....soundtrack version, or non soundtrack version with more items? What an odd choice to have to make.
I've always wondered what would a Goblin Slayer game would be like? I thought it would be like a Doom like or even a Might and Might style rpg but this is great

Thank you for this video! I will probably order the Collector's Edition. I also ordered the Retro Edition of Gordian Quest and Scarlet Tower after I saw your video. I wonder, could you find out and provide information on the size of the Collector's Editions etc. in your videos? Are the RAG Collector Editions all the same size (SNES/Retro Edition size)? This would be very helpful to know.
Grabbed the deluxe edition because I want the CD. Bummer because I also like steelbook cases. I also want the poster but having it shipped the way it does the creases of the poster when folded bother me.
Love the anime. If the game has reviewed well I'm interested for sure. It looks fun. Edit: bit the bullet and ordered the collectors edition from VGP. Really loved the anime so felt like the collectors edition was something I wanted.
I really shouldn’t buy it, because I own the Japanese collector’s edition without the English patch. However, I pre-ordered this “special” edition that costs the same as the standard version from your link…
Yeah, that wasn't in the press release I got before the real announcement. It's the same as European DX edition just without the alternative cover sleeve.
A man of principle and culture like yourself can be trusted so I have decided to preorder the deluxe edition from RAG amd the collector's edition from VGP. Thank you for helping me decide.
@@PhysicalParadise I did and would be interested in what they said, but you can't let us know. I am just really annoyed overall. Thanks for following up, I love your videos.
Uhm ok….let’s see if the same happens with I dunno gnosia for switch or Tokyo psychodemic etc etc… I still strongly suspect there is a relation but I love red art anyway. Also their prices are reasonable.
so sick of these shitty publishers doing this, really boils my piss also. they release the JP then a year later the western english version. got me with macross and also leynos
Red Art Games, imo has a really good track record and is one of the best oublishers out there. Their releases are always affordable and typically complete on cart, so while I cant confirm no shady business went down, I'll gladly give them the benefit of the doubt. Plus, localization is expensive so it wouldnt suprise me if the original publishers of these games just decided to forego it to save costs especially if there was an eager party to publish it elsewhere. Frankly, better Red Art Games than Limited Run any day.
So Mr. Bigshot gets a few affiliate deals and now suddenly he thinks it's okay to sell out consumers for shady business practices. The saying goes that "everybody's got a price" but I didn't think yours would be so low.
It's fine dude, you've made up your own narrative in your own barely functioning brain. I literally didn't have to make this video, nor did I actually have to confront Red Art Games about it. Nor did I have to tell them I would be cancelling my partnership with them if they didn't tell me the situation. But I did. And I thought most reasonable people who have watched my videos would take me as someone with principles. If they hadn't privately explained it well to me, I would have rightly called them out. If you don't believe me then fine, that's your right. But it's also my right to tell you to kindly fuck off.
@@PhysicalParadise Lol no thinks you'd risk your business and upset affiliates when you've spent so much time building up your relationships. And upsetting one means you risk your relationship with others. So no, I don't take you at your word. The whole thing is shady as fuck and so are you.
