Glad, you were finally able to rank Sonic Prime characters good to evil. Man, this season was so good. Overall, I would give this entire show a solid 9/10.
It's not that Shadow doesn't like Sonic, it's moreso that he's often annoyed by Sonic as we see Shadow genuinely care for his blue rival to the point where he got genuinely worried when he believed Sonic was going to truly perish & did everything in his power to save Sonic from dying.
Agreed Shadow just dissaproves or completely dissaproves of Sonic's methods in comes to conflict whether it be trying to negotiate with enemies alike but he remains loyal to saving the world even if it means working with him, and Shadow is the one everyone needs since Sonic doesn't have a brain to think
I still see Nine as morally gray, same for Thorn. Nine wasn't trying to wipe everyone out originally. He wasn't even after Sonic until he realized everything was falling apart. The battle only happened because everyone brought the fight to his doorstep when he'd already agreed to fix everything the Chaos Council broke. He was very clear that he wanted to be left alone and everyone else could have whatever they wanted as long as they did. Not only did everyone else break the deal, but they convince Sonic that Nine was lying without any real reason to believe that and pushed things the way they went. Nine's been shown to be many things: slow to trust, callous, more interested in the preservation of himself and what he cares about, arrogant, bossy, downright vicious if you're his enemy, and willing to harm even himself to save himself. But he wasn't shown to be a liar and instead averse to the idea of deliberately breaking trust and putting himself on the same level he felt Sonic now was. And Thorn cares about protecting her home and mostly the jungle yeah, but she did literally manipulate Sonic to get her hands on the power to shut her former friends out and doom them to starving to death, was told to her face they would starve, and basically said that it was for the greater good and walked away content to live with her choice. So I'm pretty certain that if she had access to the level of power that Nine had gathered before her redemption, which also parallels Nine's in her being forced to confront the fact she was destroying what she was trying to protect by going too far and there being fault on both sides, then her actions would have been just as disastrous. Maybe less, since it was the Chaos Council's fault the Shatterverse was falling apart which hadn't happened yet during the Scavengers' arc. So I can't help but feel like they're the same level of gray.
It's a relief for me that, even if he was overreacting, Nine did redeem himself. I knew that he couldn't be THAT bad. Even if he was the main antagonist of this last season, he was most likely rather misunderstood. Glad that The Chaos Council was the true villains all along. Also, it's a surprise that Shadow is considered "most good" (sharing with Sonic this time) as he's mostly an anti-hero in many of his appearances. But he was very heroic here, no doubt.
I like how Nine was given forgiveness and was just given bronze medal of evil. While he did commit attempted genocide, he redeemed himself by realizing the massive damage he caused to the Shatterverse! 🥰

Sonic rightfully earned his spot at the top of the spectrum, it's amazing to see Shadow there with him this time round having really stepped up. Great list and love the new art pieces.
I think my favorite part in the series was when on Sonic teamed up with the New Yoke team to help stop the chaos council by working with him I mean Sonic even taught them a few things even though nine did betray them at first but he managed to redeem himself

I feel like Nine should've been put at the bottom of the Grey Area. There's a lot of valid points you made like his hypocrisy or that "you hurt my feelings" is not an excuse for attempted genocide, but throughout the first 2 seasons, he is doing all he can to help Sonic. In season 1, all he wanted to do was escape the harsh world he was raised in that he so greatly despised. He wanted to escape with his new friend and just live... in peace.. with no worries or anything, he just wanted to be happy. "It's a clean slate for both of us. We can make this home, the one you lost, the one I never had, I can make it a reality for both of us." He did also help Sonkc get back to New Yolk to finish the fight there and he did return to assist the Resistance. In season 2, he was working under the Council's nose to help Sonic, and a lot of people hold his "betrayl" against him. But the way I see it, I don't blame him. Nine was ostracised for his whole life and in walks this crazy blue hedgehog claiming to be his best friend. He doesn't trust him first, but he does go on to and he does care for him. He grows to trust and care about Sonic, he was his first real friend. At the end of season 2, Sonic does say a few things that don't seem alright. "I just assumed you'd go along with what I wanted, just like the real you would." "I AM REAL!" Nine also asks him, "What did you think was going to happen to me once you got your home back?" From Nine's perspective, Sonic plans to leave or even erase him entirely just so he can have what he wants. I'm not justifying Nine's actions but I can understand why he would act that way.

I don’t think he was necessarily trying to kill anybody, just defeat them, so they get his own way, defeating somebody isn’t necessarily killing them. That might sound like a bit of a stretch having seen what goes on in the fight in season three, but even so.

I saw the whole thing Sonic did a good job Shadow 2 and the rest of the other multiverse heroes at first they were enemies with Sonic because they didn't trust him but as they got to know him they all turned their actions around even if it meant fighting against one of their own because nine and dread they were just selfish and reckless and irresponsible with their actions but everyone deserves a second chance to redeem themselves
You know even though he should be punished for his actions I mean total destruction of the multiverse almost wanting destruction disrupting the peace and a bunch of other things that he could be accounted for but he did turn his actions around in the end because he was just confused and upset and he just wanted to live in a world where everyone can live in peace but he went about it the wrong way despite the fact that he did all this stuff nine he's just a kid he still has some growing to do so we can't fault him out

I don’t think he was necessarily trying to kill anybody, just defeat them, so they get his own way, defeating somebody isn’t necessarily killing them.

For me Rusty Rose, Knuckles Dread, Tails Nine, Mangey are the most different versions of main characters. I mean if Tails would be actually rude or violent he wouldn't look changed in Shatterverse, same to others' qualities 😮

I feel like the Shatterverse was a bit underutilized. They only had three universes with character development.
I saw the whole thing Sonic did a good job Shadow 2 and the rest of the other multiverse heroes at first they were enemies with Sonic because they didn't trust him but as they got to know him they all turned their actions around even if it meant fighting against one of their own because nine and dread they were just selfish and reckless and irresponsible with their actions but everyone deserves a second chance to redeem themselves
You know even though he should be punished for his actions I mean total destruction of the multiverse almost wanting destruction disrupting the peace and a bunch of other things that he could be accounted for but he did turn his actions around in the end because he was just confused and upset and he just wanted to live in a world where everyone can live in peace but he went about it the wrong way despite the fact that he did all this stuff nine he's just a kid he still has some growing to do so we can't fault him out
