Absolutely. I tried playing drums a few times, it's hard. I have some rhythm in me, but to independently control each limb, but in a synchronized manner? Yeah, it's hard. Even if you don't play double bass drums I don't find it particularly easy. I tried bass guitar a little as well, doesn't seem too hard, except that you need to be very precise with the rhythm, as any imperfection, with all the amplification, breaks the song. I guess I stick to rhythm guitar, lol. And to solo piano, at least I don't ruin the experience to a few others :)
The world is full of great music. Symphonic metal is as good as it gets. Lately bands from all over the world have emerged to carry on genre. Ukraine gave us Symfomania. Kazakhstan gave us Ulytau. Japan gave us Unlucky Morpheus.

Galneryus, undead corporation and doujen, unlucky morpheus, thousand eyes, hone your sense, xjapan, devil within (new), maximum the hormone, yousei teikoku, lovebites, dir en grey (actually have shinyas drum stick from 2011 fillmore show in frisco), Malice mizer, ningen isu, are my favorites. A long list but all worth listening to. So many amazing japanese bands list is necessary to keep track. ENJOY!
