I love this longer version of Love Struck by Jesse Johnson! Jesse wasn’t pretending to be Prince as some have mentioned. He was one of Prince’s protégés! As did many other’s that worked with Prince! I for one & grateful to have Jesse’s brilliant music to my collection!
Jessie Johnson was a bad Ass Bass Player. When he perform with the group Time, they did damage. ( Meaning they Rock the House down, fans loved them) Prince would not let them perform same time as him or perform certain ways, also they couldn't do the bird dance, they did it anyways, Prince knew this band kicked Ass on stage. Jessie Johnson had his own style of playing the guitar I'm not taking anything away from Prince, I loved him too, I'm just stating facts.
