I have a little ADD when it comes to movies, and I don’t like sitting down in front of a screen without switching the channels constantly. But the last movie I saw, and really liked was Children of Men I just felt so encompassed in the world of that movie, I can say I would watch it again. But yes, as you get older to truly feel immersed in something and feel a connection to it does leave you. But when there is something that can draw you in like the little child you once were it’s wonderful it’s a magic to itself where it’s not just this media taking you in but it’s the inspiration you draw out of it, and stays with you long after the movie is done. ITS THE MAGIC OF ART, AND HOW IT MAKES THE WORLD COME ALIVE, IN THE POSSIBILITIES YOU SEE.
I love how well spoken and cohesive this interview is w/ Kanye, compared to the narrative that the media feeds us. I appreciate him sharing this side of himself with us. 💜 Also, it’s true magic being a fly on the wall for these conversations between genies.🧞♀️ I mean geniuses.
1. sit down with kanye west 2. start recording the ambient audio in the room that contains you, Bret Easton Ellis, and Kanye West 3. Ketamine 4. have a conversation with Kanye West
Did Kayne and Brett start out as Wanting to do something for humanity like provide solutions for equality... reducing child abuse... menace to society... video for get away... minimal work... 12 to 18, breaking bad... pop culture phenomena not a part of the conversation... access..

That Creative genius quote 😂
this was incredible
Paris, Texas is great example of a film that is 100% a mood film. It's all mood. The script is probably 11 pages long.
the best west interview which is two way conversational (and challenging just a little bit though)
