- A distribution board DB is where the electrical supply is distributed from within the building home. The main supply cable comes into the board and is then distributed to the breakers and from there to all the circuits lights fan plugs etc. various sizes of distribution boards are available.
Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) automatically switches off electrical circuit during an abnormal condition of the network. means in overload condition as well as faulty condition. nowadays we use an MCB in low voltage electrical network instead of a fuse MCB is much more sensitive to over current than fuse.
Residual Current Breaker (RCB) works on the assumption that the current going to the electronics device must come out from the neutral wire if there is no other way for current flow. In simple words RCB measures the current going inside the connected device and coming out from the device.

Connection from input MCB to RCBO is not correct. This is a reverse connection. The correct connection should be from MCB output below to the 1 position on the top of the RCBO which is the Line in and N above which is the Neutral in, then 2 position on the RCBO which is the Line out and N below for Neutral out. Connection from RCBO should be from 2,N position to the input of the 20A breakers from top position and output from below the breakers to Load
Three 20 amp RCB's fed through a 40 amp RCBO? Nope. That's a total of 60 amps. RCBO's need to be wired correctly and this is wired in reverse. You will damage the RCBO. There is a reason they numbered it 1 and 2 on the L connection.
I see only 1 Main Switch, 1 RCD and 3 nos - 2 pole MCB. No RCBO.
Mcb me niche se input ate hai...mere kyal se...or rccb me input upr se hote hai...

why don’t you connect the neutral wire to the terminal busbar ?
He uses 2 poles MCB so no Neutral Bar needed. I did not see an earth bar/cable though

I understand input and output can be either bottom or top to suit.
This is wrong connection...phase always right...and connect input to the bottom...

@@JrElectricSchool 1 is primary (line) and 2 is secondary ( load). Never defy convention in electrical works, unless of course it is your pet project and not a client job.

Some rccb the input in bottom or top it depends on the manufacturer..some mcb also is reversible..
This is totally wrong I wouldn't advice a beginner to watch this video because it could mislead them.
