- Starting at dark thirty to get into Monson as early as I can to get all my town tasks taken care of. Was a beautiful sunrise and 21 mile stroll through the forest.

In fact, it seems to be a pretty common thing as people get closer to Katahdin and realize what they have accomplished, and that it's almost over. Watching you out Katahdin "in the bag" is going to be EPIC! Hike on!
