Great video for us curiously-minded folks! It's been a year, so I could not find most of these products on Amazon or your webpage, but you gave me some great ideas. Thanks!
I am a Mom of a special needs child who has had aba for 10 years now. I am going for my RBT cert. and also interviewing for work. I love all the materials you use for your students. Thank you so much for sharing.
I am just stepping into the world of RBT coming from preschool and I love how real you are! I feel like we would be great friends in person! Thank you for sharing and keeping it real! And now I need that bag with wheels lol!
omg! Thank you SO much for linking the items! Definitely going to look in to purchasing some of these. Also, you’re so lucky that you’re only using one bag 😭 due to Covid, my company is currently requiring one bag per client. So I have three separate bags with me, every single day!
Love the video! I started watching your videos back in October before I took the RBT exam and all the videos have been very helpful during my own journey as a BT. I need to get some of those reinforcers soon for my own client!
Your videos are awesome!!! This vid will definitely help me with activities & all. I'm a new RBT and your videos helped me passed my exam this past Feb on the 1st go😁
would love a video on how much have you spent on toys not sure if you would want to disclose that though appreciate your videos. I want to be a good rbt but im a broke college student not trying to spend a whole ton on a bunch of toys
Hi I’m in the process of being trained as an RBT. I love your videos and this video helped a lot! Were you nervous starting out as an RBT? How long did it take for you to feel comfortable? If you’ve made a video on it, please link it! I just started shadowing and I’m already a bit stressed haha
LOL this makes me want to buy new things for my bag. How do you keep your clients from loosing toys? My littles throw mine and I can never end up finding them until later on.
Do you have any tips on encouraging functional play? My client likes sensory items which is great, but that’s about all he will do willingly besides lining things up by color and stimming off of them
Hi there, I’m working toward my RBT credentials, and I’ve seen criticism about ABA practices from parents and the people with autism themselves. They say that ABA is abusive and teaches kids to mask their neurodentity, basically encourages them to not be themselves and suppress their own feelings and needs. I’m very confused and discouraged. They criticize ABA for treating autism as a disease, a problem to be fixed. Isn’t that true though? Isn’t that the reason why people seek help - because autism is a problem? I’m not sure if my concerns offend anyone. I just genuinely want to understand better. I wonder what your opinion about the criticisms. Have you encountered any bad experience while doing ABA?
Hi, do you have to purchase the items yourself for your client, or does the company provide them for you? I'm talking about the toys and play items. THANKS, IN ADVANCE.
I love your videos! I am also a RBT! Does your agency reimburse you for all your toys or do you have to purchase them yourself? Just thinking that’s really cool if they reimburse you!
Yes but it’s through my website! I will Be adding everything in this video over the weekend so you can check back in for these particular items! I do have some other items in the store if you want to check it out! abasource.com/product-category/amazon-picks/
@@ABASource thank you bunches! You have no idea how much help you’ve been to my life. My kiddos (that I babysit) are excelled because of your help. I’m the work of becoming RBT for future.

I only give them one toy at a time and we need to clean up before the next activity or else yes they would definitely get lost!
Do you have any tips on encouraging functional play? My client likes sensory items which is great, but that’s about all he will do willingly besides lining things up by color and stimming off of them
I got the job thanks to you ❤️ I'm barely starting out

can’t wait to become a RBT!!!
I wish I could provide toys! But my agency forbids BT’s bringing our own toys to our sessions
Why would they do that? Do you know? That’s horrible 🥺
@@ABASource They say because they might ask for it outside of session and can lead to tantrums and/or other behaviors because they’re unable to access
Then how do you work with the children!?😅
@@ABASource I just have to be creative with the things that the household has 😅
Do you pay out of pocket for the toys ?
Great video btw! 😀
I dooooo 😅 makes my life a hell of a lot easier though so it’s well worth it!

AHHH I didn’t think that far 😅 I’ll have to do another giveaway just for my RUclips peeps then 😏

Do you keep a separate bag for each client?
Yes
Hello! Does anyone know if being a resident is a requirement to get the license?
I don’t believe so 🧐

Yes, and I’m happy to
Great!! Me too I’m always looking for new stuff to bring to sessions
Pop the pig is one of my favorites to play with the kiddos right now
