It's like Dime was playing with his own version of himself if he'd lived that long. Rebel Meets Rebel raw, real like the David and Dime. RIP ROCK AND ROLL REBELS!! 🥃🎸 GETCHA PULL!!
I'll never forget in 2006 driving to high school , and hearing this . Fuckin killer song and album . I just bought another copy not to long ago . Love them guys.
Wow this video is a heavy metal gem a huge tribute to the Abbot boys doing what they do best kicking ass and playing hard rock David Allen Coe is timeless performer A+ content
This is awesome, i’ve known both artists forever, had no idea they did a collaboration. Here’s one how bout Pamtera RIP & Rodney Carrington..epic!!! White shirts & rain would have an entirely diff feel...
Same brother!I'm a 52 year old south Florida boy! My siblings are in their 60s and 70s so they were into David Allen Cove and I got a chip off that but grew up in the 80s with heavy metal! Hell YA!
David also loved dimes guitars and also tended to play dime guitars ever since they did this. He would often be invited to some country show and show up with one of dimes guitars.
Man that was good to see! Love that record! To bad they never toured the RMR that would of been awesome! But seen DAC on the release day for that cd in Maryland!
I hope one day this gets re-released on vinyl. I highly doubt they will. But then again they re-released Damageplan "New Found Power" on vinyl. So maybe one day....
Haha. I thought this was gonna be a cover of Kiss's Nothing to Lose. When the video began I thought, "Wow. Okay. Kinda gets the point of the song across".
How in the hell do more people not know about this album I don't think I've ever seen a reaction to this video which is a damn shame and shows that there is no real music anymore rest in peace dime and Darrell I'll see you on the other side Brothers
I'm all for HELL YEAH for Pantera and on the Sabbath/Ozzy tour Pantera KILLED IT, where? At the Fabulous Forum in Inglewood CA. Plenty of brown and black folks there, all in peace together, with everybody else. The pit was no joke, big boys only but everybody was cool. David Allen Coe...sorry man, tough to like a guy, who without knowing me, don't like me, why? Becuse and only because the color of my skin, my brother from another mother, I love my brother and he is black. The shit he took being a black metal frontman and just because he was black, just for that saddens me more now that I'm older. Being called the N word for no reason other than hate...man. Most metal heads loved him because he was an oddity, a token black dude, he was regarded as, "one of the good ones". But chilling in orange county, big mistake. It was just out in the open to his and our face. Knowing David Allen Coe's music (I love country btw, not new country, but out law and even 90's county), that dude has some messed up lyrics, messed up to me and literally towards me and folks with more melinin in their skin. And is that the litmus test for a person? Not our similarities in everything else? Not my 93 F150 with a 4.9, not my 89 F250 with a 7.5? Not my black Stetson hat, old school Lee denim jackets, boots, that I live a half mile from a dairy farm? But folks gotta $hit on me and my black brothers (got 4 black friends into metal that play metal)? There ain't no reason worth a man's true integrity, in this world, to justify hating someone when you don't even knowing them. I don't know DAC, but if his songs and lyrics reflect how he feels about brown and black...It will hurt but I will remain in denial of how (apparently) Pantera felt about folks with darker skin color. I hope and pray I'm wrong because walking into the Forum while Pantera was playing was a FORCE a power I have NEVER felt from another band, they were pouring their hearts out, crushing it! Please my brothers, just think about what I have said, that's all I'm asking. God bless.
There were many black confederate soldiers and the south did not fight for slavery no matter how many stupid liberal collage kids tell you that!even lincoln himself claimed the war wasnt over slavery!also slavery wasnt illegal until the 13th amendment made it illigal.which makes the us government murderers of their own people for a legal practice!oh yeah and black people brought slavery to america and they weren't the only slaves being enslaved!
Honestly, I don't give a f**k about his private thoughts....why, in this times, in XXI, everything have to be about colour of skin, about race? Why always afro-american people play this card? I don't know....I come here to listen some music, some great music, read some fine comments about band and what I just found: comment from another person who think everyone and everything should be inclusive and politically correct. It's very noble of you spit on the back and shoulders of DAC, bravo! You're very brave men! If you're so truly offended, and you fell very bad about it, go ahead and tell everything what you wrote down here to his face... Btw., In Hollywood, f.e.: there are some f***ed up standards about paritis black and white peoples in every movie; the same way in commercials. It doesn't matter if you are good in what you do, no. Color of your skin - that what matters...I think: the more you think everything should be about race, the more peoples would have been sick and tired about this bull**it complaining. Stop whining and start changing your life! And leave this band off political matters! ;-) God bless everyone who use his head to think and love peace \.../
Anyone listening to this is a friend of mine. Best of luck of there
Pantera actually had their own ace of spades and this was it.
It's crazy how David outlived Dime and Vinnie. RIP
"Youth and Energy never could outlast Old Age & Cruelty"
Fortunately DAC was never shot and murdered by a crazed “fan.” Silly take.
@@spacejockey4746 Why the fuck would you even imply that lol

They didnt even need pat just this guy right here.
