Sometimes, it isn’t just a terrible “pick” that devastates an organization…. Sometimes all it takes is a public embarrassment with the spotlight of the draft on them.
That alone can capsize public opinion and turn the organization and the people running it into a laughingstock across the league.
Now-let’s take a look back over the years at every NFL team’s most embarrassing draft moment of all-time!

Carroll's light hearted and fun attitude when meeting DK is not embarrassing it's endearing! The 12s LOVED IT! We love DK and we love Pete even more for his childlike love of the game!
Rodgers fall wasn't embarrassing to the Packers, it was embarrassing to him. Dontari Poe kissing Goddell isn't as embarrassing for the Chiefs as drafting Todd Blackledge when they could have taken Dan Marino.
Since we're on the subject of the 1989 draft, I'd personally say the Packers most embarrassing moment was taking Tony Mandarich when the rest of the top 5 taken in that draft were all HOFers
Nike the dog was not an embarrassment. It was a great moment.
John Elway being drafted by the colts and throwing a world class hissy fit.🤣
I remember the knocks on DK were like "he only runs 4 routes" You mean like Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson did? Absolutely insane he wasn't a first round pick
Everyone outsmarted themselves. I guess no one wanted to draft the combine warrior and him be a bust and look dumb? Idk I thought it was dumb then and it’s even worse with hindsight 💀
Sorry, but the Reagor over Jefferson pick should easily be the Birds’ most embarrassing draft moment
Exactly what popped up in my head when I saw this title.... But you know what Howie has learned from his epic mistake and has improved greatly. Not many people can publicly redeem themselves
Don’t care for that anymore. Howie Masterclass
😂😂 absolutely not. The linebacker forsure
Haven't even seen it yet but as a eagles fan gas to be the fireman or the dude from Louisville
That's worse the ever pick during Chip Kelly era???? What about the fireman's or dude from Louisville?? he even said
I thought the Patriots moment was pretty funny. The dog was the true mastermind, not Belichick, lol!
Exactly, I’d love that more often 😂
5:50... Damn Prime, that was dirty. And understanding the Lions well enough, they were used to being trolled by then. 😅😂
The Dallas Cowboys moment was no embarrassment. That’s a baller move by CD
I don’t see how that was embarrassing. This whole “lemme see your phone” bs has to stop
Ikr, their most embarrassing should have been drafting Taco Charlton over TJ watt
It's when they passed on Randy Moss in 98 LOL
@AJ Sports Jerry never had any issues with "character concerns" after that lol
@@jerrys.3317 dare I bring up Greg Hardy? Lol sorry had to
I don't see how Big Ben's slide was embarrassing. The Steelers got their franchise quarterback and he got 2 rings for them. I consider that fortunate for the Steelers.
7:06 nailed the Jags moment. I will never forget the stunned reactions of Jags fans in the restaurant that night. The only player they could have reached for in 2010 was ironically Tim Tebow as he was a Jax kid in addition to a Gator. That pick also setup the Jags for Blaine Gabbert; and it is in 😂
On not in
Ceedee said give my phone back 😂😂😂😂😂
Keep up your fantastic videos, God bless you
Love your video TPS
6:18 got me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Washington “selling a pick that we don’t have” is such an on-brand move for the entire city, not just the franchise 😂
Green Bay Packers: Drafting Jordan Love 10th overall in 2020.
It was not 10th it was like 25th
What makes the Trubisky pick even worse is that they didn't need to trade to get him. The 49ers were going defense that round and everyone except the Bears seemed to know it
I would have gone with drafting Gabe Riviera over Dan Marino for the Steelers.
The Laremy Tunsil pick worked out great for Miami. I really don’t see the embarrassment.
the seattle one is hella funny and not embarrassing at all pete carroll is literally the one of the best players coaches
I’m surprised they didn’t mention the chargers drafting Eli manning
Vikings drafting WR Troy Williamson and then DE/LB Erasmus James while QB Aaron Rodgers fell to GB. Granted we didn't think we needed him. Who knew how fast Culpepper was going to nose dive but still upsets me when I think about it.
We need draft grades!!
As a lifelong Saints fan, trading all of 1999's draft picks for Ricky Williams was bad enough, but I'd say it still ranks a distant second to drafting Russell Erxleben in the first round in 1979.
Deion shouldn’t talk the lions passed him for the man the myth the legend Barry sanders
Are you serious? Getting Ben at 11 was a steal
Either Reagor or Agholor as a 1st rounder is way worse that a weird high five
7:42 they used a Madden draft board for The jags 😂
Saints taking Erxleben in R1 is way more embarrassing.
Do 2023 NFL draft grades
How is a hall of fame qb fall to you embarrassing neither the packers or steelers are embarrassed believe me
Exactly. Three super bowl wins between the 2 teams from these picks, I don't they are the least bit embarrassed.
I was expecting the Eagles one to be them reaching on Mike Mamula, the original Workout Warrior.
13:09-13:10 You got the Buccaneers owner's name wrong. It's Hugh CulverHOUSE, NOT Hugh CulverSON.
Seahawks choosing Aaron Curry at 4 in 2009 , damn
8:14 gotta be the worst 💀
Video idea: every nfl teams wtf? Moment this season
Until i got ESPN NFL 2K5 for PS2 i never knew that Favre was a Falcon. Let alone drafted by them.
that was the best decision for the dolphins in franchise history 😂 turned into Tyreek, Jaylen, Jaelan, Jalen, Holland, and Tua
Okay cmon the dog picking was funny, time for us to relax a bit don’t you think??
Denver has Josh McDaniels to thank for that draft day trade to move up for Tebow. For the Chargers, it should be drafting Eli Manning after he publicly said he would not play for them!
To be fair, Favre can't be pronounced "Farve". It simply isn't the noise those letters make in that order, so I won't judge anyone for not pronouncing it that way.
Please play a video if every teams biggest STEAL in the draft!
As a Bears fan, I'm still waiting for an explanation from Ryan Pace.
Drafting Tribusky was no mistake or bad move. Not building up an OL during and after Cuter was a huge mistake.
trubisky wasn't a bad qb for us. the Bears have never had an all time talent back there, but not having an online and having a HORRIBLE head coach screwed him
@@andrewsolomon6385 That and the fans on Twitter could not see past their vanity to see the facts and the talents of him. Tribusky to A ROB was a great mix. I wanted Dazz Newsome, but they messed that up. Still keeping Tribusky and drafting Fields then rebuilding the OL would have been better in 2020 then the two bad years.
@@the1magageneral323 I 100% agree. and they never should've let go of Howard in the back field
@@andrewsolomon6385 I agree Howard reminded me of Gale Sayers. Plus we should have been rebuilding our OL back in 2011-12 because once Krutz was not able to play and Webb couldn't block majority of the offense performance declined effectively. I like Kyle Long, but the other guys not so much. Currently we are getting there, we need another OG and next year draft a good center.
Kevin Williams was a very good player for Minnesota. One half of the Williams Wall (with Pat, who isn't related to him).
brady quinn 07 draft most painful
MRW TPS mocks someone else for mispronouncing a football players name.
How was the Ravens taking Breshad Perriman in the 1st round, in the same draft as Stefon Diggs who went in the 5th round not their biggest draft day blunder?
Now wasting a pick on Kevin White was a huge mistake instead of getting OL men.
The chargers actually have 10 fans? I'm shocked 😂
The packers drafting Mandarich in 89 should have been on here
Thanks for all of the nlf things I ❤❤❤❤
The best underdogs every years from 2000 to 2023 🙏🏾
Really? Detroit's most embarrassing draft moment was taking Barry Sanders instead of Deion Sanders?
You may not know what you're talking about.
Big Ben falling in the draft wasn't embarrassing for the Steelers it was embarrassing for him. The Steelers most embarrassing moment should have been picking Gabriel Rivera over Dan Marino!
Saints drafting Marcus Davenport over a potential successor at QB
That Lions one wasn't actually that bad tbh, they lassed on Prime for the best running back ever... I'd say picking Charles Rogers was worse.
Cleveland Browns: Picking Baker Mayfield instead of Josh Allen.
Culverhouse not Culverson. TPS' biggest draft day blunder.
I think for Buffalo it was Tom Cousineau in 1979. They got the 1st overall from the Niners for OJ Simpson and used it on Tom Cousineau - who then signed with the Montreal Alouettes. Then when he did come to the NFL, he sucked anyway ( for the Browns)
Wasn’t this video made already last year? 🤣
Can you grade everyone’s draft class for this years
The bears one is bad now but mahomes was a project qb at that time
Do top 10 sports chokes in sports history for ur next video
I still think Mitch could’ve been great on another team. Same with Baker.
Was that Deion Sanders or MC Hammer? Couldn't tell.
The whole 2009 Draft for the Chiefs.
Wasn't there a draft pick of a guy who died.
I know that the Canadian league has drafted dead players before. In 1995, Ottawa drafted defensive end Derrell Robertson from Las Vegas' CFL team (yes, the league had a short-lived expansion in the USA), but he had died in a car crash four months earlier. In 1996, Montreal drafted defensive end James Eggink, from Northern Illinois, but he had died of cancer three months earlier.
Montreal's owner called James Eggink's family and apologized for his mistake. The league was unaware that Eggink had died until after the draft.
Favre makes sense on how it's spelt.
Eagles- Marcus smith and a 28 year old firefighter. Cringe. Just terrible picks. Passing on Jefferson was hard too.
Packers draft embarrassment- haven’t you heard of Tony Mandarich??
Poor dog
I feel like this is a bit of reach of a topic. Pun intended lol I cannot see how Aaron Rodgers could be considered embarrassing for the Packers. The structure of the video is funky. You mention the year in some examples but leave it out in others. Kind of confusing.
I'm a diehard _Arizona Cardinals_ fan (#BirdGang / #RiseUpRedSea / #TheMonti OssenfortEraBegins / #TheFULLMonti) and I already know that our most embarrassing draft day moment is gonna be trading up to select Josh Rosen #10 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft.
I mean, there's a _SLIGHT_ opportunity that it could be trading away the #10 overall pick to the Baltimore Ravens to get 2 mid-1st round picks instead of selecting Terrell Suggs and instead picking WR Bryant Johnson from Penn St. And Calvin Pace out of Wake Forest. Johnson sucked and Pace had a decent career just not with Arizona.
The Cardinals could've selected the hometown kid out of Arizona St instead; but _NOPE!!!..._ we fucked that up!!! haha
Ok I was _WAY OFF!!!_ haha
How are Big Ben and Aaron Rodgers embarrassing draft moments just cause they fell. They both are arguably the best QB for the respected franchises
Do the draft grades video
W video like all ways tps
First and my packers suck at drafting.
So it was embarrassing to wear a mask ? Because he didn’t want to get sick by other people in his house?
So you're one of those mask Nazis? You're one of them that drive in your car by yourself with a mask on, aren't you? 😂
As a Boys fan that pales in comparison to moves like drafting Taco over TJ. Or hell, in this year's draft taking Schoonmaker & not Torrence (who went with the very next pick).
As a Michigan fan, you should be happy with schoonmaker, he was a really good TE. As long as bum ass Dak can get the ball to him.
TPS gotta step up this is weak. In every way
Idk ours isnt embarrassing😂 its hilarious
Johnny Manziel. 🙄
the jets always scew up draft 50 50 chance on them making the playoffs now and then
How were the Packers and Steelers embarrassing?
First I’m so very tired of hearing that Mitch is the worse draft by the bears no we took Curtis Enis and did not take Randy Moss Curtis was out of football very quickly and Moss is a HOFer
Tennessee was the funniest one
👍🏿
Tyson is my name
Wow and weed is legal too I’m learning all kinds of things
Please do a video on every trans biggest steal of the draft like Brady for the Patriots
All of the Glory goes to God
Cd lamb is a punk for what he did to his girlfriend
Cee dee
lol
Most of these picks you have, are a reach as well lol.
Booker Reesa Tampabay
Jesus is Above all
Drafting Tribusky was no embarrassment.
It was when you consider they could have had Mahomes.
@@nickim6571 So what? It would have been the same results with the offense, mainly because of the OL and playcallings. Leaders especially QBs have to adapt to situations.
Jesus is king! God bless!
