- Tico Tico composed by a Maestro called Zequinha de Abreu.

Let's please keep these awesome composers alive and never forget what they did in their time!
Can you imagine this piece was composed in 1917! That's 107 years ago.
When I first heard it, it was from Paco de Lucía. Paco didn't leave any piece untouched. I love how much music and positive energy he spread all over the world throughout his lifetime!
Here is the link to his video of course:

I hope you enjoyed this one as much as I enjoyed recording it.

Noch nie habe ich so gerne zugehört.
luciano already became one of the top Flamenco musicians in this world.
Thank you Hamad! It sure doesn’t feel this way! There’s always just so much room for improvement, I appreciate your comment though!
@@LucianoGhosn It's true though. Your sound, skill, precision and musicality are world class! You put even more subtleties into Pacos's songs than Paco did himself. To do that and not alter the spirit of the song in any way, but on the contrary to add to his songs, that takes authentic skill and talent!
Cheers :)

Hey Luciano, plays Odeon from Ernesto Nazareth, pleeeeease!
Abraços desde Brasil!
I have seen your performances one or two scattered in the past. But only recently I paid attention. So much clarity in your playing. Who did you learn from? I am sure from some Spanish master. Keep on rocking bro!
Thank you! I am actually self taught. Every day there’s something new to learn!
@@LucianoGhosn - I find it hard to believe. No music training from any teachers at all. I traveled a decent journey on classical guitar all self-taught. But keep on thing on mind. Unlike 30/40 years ago even 15 years ago the mode of learning is never the same anymore. Online training material even though non-interactive can take you a very long way compared to rewinding and forwarding Paco cassettes and trying to learn something. So learning from online video instructions (geared with at least some teacher feedback) can't be quite considered self-taught anymore.
Even considering that as a possibility which I am sure is the case at the least your development is phenomenal. I wonder where you would go if you learned say from Vicente. Vicente learnt from Manuel Sanlucar if I am not mistaken among others.
@@jeetray11 Yes I agree with you, but I will repeat myself and say I am self taught meaning I haven’t had any teacher neither in person nor online to teach me.
In the past I have had a couple of masterclasses in Spain with guitarists like Antonio Rey, Rafael Rodriguez or Manuel Valencia but these were all a 1 day-2 hour sessions I wouldn’t count on them.
I know it sounds bizarre but I always relied on watching videos from Paco and Vicente mostly and rewinding the videos to copy their hand movements. Despite not taking any classes from them directly, I do feel comfortable considering them as my teachers, from far away at the least.
@@LucianoGhosn - I don't play flamenco any more. I have a fantastic Jose Rodriguez Pena guitar still with me. That I look at and feel sad. There was a phase when Flamenco guitar music was on the top of my list. Eventually, I gave up. I got the idea, if I don't go to spain and live there for a few years I won't be able to progress. So I gave up. I moved on to other instruments, classical guitar arrangements of Indian music and many other styles of music.
Seriously you have made impossible possible. Congratulations!
I should probably take a few lessons from you to re-ignite my flamenco passion and meet you in the process.
Best wishes!
