I think it has to launch before or by the same day Rainbow 6 Siege new season starts. Which is March 12th, because the first season of XDefiant is rumored to be an R6 Siege faction themed season being that it's already codenamed by the devs as "Ruby". Also, there's a game ad tab built within R6 Siege that has been and still is currently marketing R6 Extraction. But this is why I am anticipating a release for XDefiant by or on March 12th. So that it gets a highlighted spot in that interactive AD spot within R6 Siege with its upcoming new season on March 12th.
One thing to keep in mind though, XDefiant is launching with Season 0 (Preseason) for 6 weeks prior to Season 1 dropping. So even if this were the case, R6 wouldn't have involvement for a good bit after March 12th.
For f sake guys I am hyped but these devs are taking too much time for their own good . I hope they get the project straight and release this before summer idealy on april

You can't put free trials, or advance both Rebirth or Verdansk. And how will people find out that the game has come out? Just like in the beta, paying streamers to play on RUclips, Twitch or wherever. I think they are going to do this marketing strategy. In the beta it worked for them and that's where it will go. I would tend to agree with you here. They have already said they will not do a full marketing cycle for the game and are taking a more grassroots approach. All this game needs is word of mouth from creators imo and I think it will launch very successfully!

I would say that Mark being more vague now is probably just due to them focusing entirely on getting the game ready for launch and not wanting to be as direct about specific things anymore.
