This makes me sad that Trek to Yomi doesn't have any gore mechanics. This game truly captures the brutality of Samurai duels in a way that Trek to Yomi couldn't.
There is also the option to customize blood spilling and colour in the EXTRA menu. You can tweak it to get even bigger spills or you can tone it down to make it more realistic. Very nice touch!
This is actual art! This game plays awesome, looks awesome, feels awesome, and last but not least, IS awesome. I see so much talent here, this dev knows what he's doing.
I bought this game on Steam about week ago because of your video. It’s gore and blood effects are great, considering that it’s all pixel art and can be a little difficult to see what’s going on at times. I especially love the blood physics. Keep the vids coming and persuade me to buy more gory games!
detail I saw is that you can actually throw blood into the face of your oppentent causing them to pause to wipe it off, leaving them open for attack, or just ignore it but have reduced reaction time
I love simple to pick up, hard to master games like this. The pick up and play nature is something i appreciate, and the crazy amount of detail present for a game such as this is awesome. Probably the best 2d blood spilling engine ive seen in a complete game.
I waited for this to launch in steam, bought it in the first day and haven't regretted it, one of the best blood systems I have ever seen, and it's also fun as hell
i love the gore physics in this game, reminds me of old samurai movies and its just insanely bloody and brutal. It shows the brutal side of the end of a battle
This game definitely inspired by Akira Kurosawa movies, especially the one with the suspend samurai stand off scene that ends with one slash kill and blood spilling.
hey bro just wanted to say i love your channel and watch most of the vids you post i appreciate that you keep posting even if your videos dont get that much views and hope you dont leave youtube any time soon❤
Why do we adore gore in games? Ever wonder why? Is it because it creates the idea that it is authentic? Perhaps new video games have produced highly dissatisfying results in terms of gore, therefore we want to seek the enjoyment of witnessing a genuine combat occur. I'd want to hear the channel administrator's and everyone's opinions on this subject matter.
For me it's always been just response on the receiving end of the character you're fighting against, and the difference between something very lacking and something detailed detailed. Same for destruction and the effect that can deliver. Discussed it all here: ruclips.net/video/U4-lOPreM0U/видео.html
Does anybody know any fps games for Xbox where bullet holes stay in the body and don’t disappear really fast? MW2019 is a good example of what I’m looking for (other cod games messed it up)
This game would be so much better if they got better sounds for sword swings/clashing. You know something more movie / anime like, the current sword clashing sounds sound so weak.

Nice
Make blood pink as if it's some crazy psychedelic 80s bloody action

Indeed. Not a fan of pixel art games but that Steam version trailer immediately caught my interest

It is a really fun one, lots more fun stuff to cover
@@RandomMadnessChannel cover as in cover the mechanics of the game in vids or cover things in blood in the game?

Definitely. Love this kind of games with a really solid gameplay loop you can play over and over again

When a couple of pixels can be way more brutal than fully detailed 4k graphics 🤯
Was hyped to see valentin get a shout out in the credits

I NEED THAT GAME
Look very cool
Feel like the blood trickling down should have randomized speed. it starts slow, speeds up a bit, as it loses mass, it slows down again.
love this game

Because deep inside we're all animals wearing human skin. Now here's a question to you:
Do you like hurting other people?
If you could you could get into the upcoming play test or do a review for BODYCAM that would be amazinggg
Thanks for letting me know about this one, looks pretty cool
Yooo it came out!
gonna buy it when it comes out
Already out
perfect

How is that possible? is it 3d but pixel rendering or something?
Interesting... 🤔
for some reason i dont even get the gore when i kill a person its just small mist and a animation of the enemy falling
You could be using wooden swords, check if that's the case
@@RandomMadnessChannel i already figured it out but thanks for the information people with the same problem might check this comment
@@dragonsgaming5921 Sooo what was it? lol
