BRING BACK SYNTHESIS GOD DAMNIT. That league was the one I loved the most. Bring it back in a way that it is less intrusive but plays the same way it was with the zones you had to place on a map. This was peak content and now that we have enough content for people to choose from, I feel like people who don,t like it can just ignore it if they feel so. Bring back this piece of art!
GGG please make sure Synthesis returns, even if it's in POE2, but please don't ever allow the most "vocal" of the playerbase to nuke out of core a mechanic as downright AMAZING as Synthesis was. Granted, it required some polishing, but it was awesome and I (and many others) enjoyed it to no end. Please bring it baaaack!

Im playing the game on and off, started after playing poe for a few years. I don't really see how anybody even compares the two. D3 has 0 game depth anybody can learn all they have to know in a weeks time.
They did it to themselves by not delivering with content or caring about the customers. That being said I'm very glad for PoE being such a wonderfully superior alternative ARPG option.
I shed a man tear watching this and realizing we no longer have Synthesis as a real core mechanic but instead are limited to the low drop chance maps that we never get, which is just an empty shell of the intricate tile system that we used to have. They could have made Synthesis into the same type of side activity that Delve is, but instead, we only get it as low drop chance maps without the real mechanic or the synthesizer for crafting, it's honestly so sad.
Woolfio you deserve some naughty memories to destroy, but I don't think that they have internet in Wraeclast. Maybe you could beg Krillson of Winding Pier Fame if he could implement it.

This is really awesome, having locked affixes on items that usually would cost exalts to do and it even doesn't take an extra space to have it locked and it can be chaos spammed with the consequences of using items with a similar effect. This league will realy help with crafting yet again, awesome. I like how GGG still is listening to the playerbase which said that self casting had issues compared to other casting methods and they are taking action to balance it, the fact that at least they will try to do that is really cool.
I hope you are aware that veiled mod items looked super cool in the announcement vid aswell, but then we found out that 99.999999% dropped veiled mods items are simply for recipe farming and... well... how do I put it... COMPLETELY SUCK! i.E. Don't expect too much, but it does look cool. (:

Self-casting was definitely in a bad place with the exception of Arc. Spellcasting over all has been the meta for a few seasons now though. Would have been nice to see a melee balance patch as well.
My first league i did Uber elder!, i was shaking and sweating after i killed Elder+Shaper with my last portal :P I just hope GGG would bring it back in any form in the future!

I've been playing this game for so many years, and I always seem to be so amazed over the work you and your team do for this great game and community, graphics, design, and even the sound is so good, can't wait to play this league!! When's the PS4 release damn it my PC is trashed lol
At 300 fps on 240hz display, you will have tearing happening although not so noticeable on that high of a refresh rate. The thing is PoE is kinda smooth already as there is no erratic movement resulting from quick mouse snaps as in fps games for example, so removing tearing completely is a bigger gain here than let's say going from 120 to 240 fps.
Agreed but to be honest I've always thought poe and warframe shared a lot in lore and art. The Orokin and Eternal Empire two ancient, fallen empires with fantastic stylish fancy architecture that the player character is spending time in the remains of. Both with crazy magical, golden, spinning and revolving machines that often have some magical purpose. Both obsessed with technology and that technology maybe being forbidden or corrupt or having a corrupting influence. Both ultimately falling into corruption and then being destroyed (and destroyed by their own technology they were seeking to harness) etc etc etc. :)

@@adventcthulhu3865 Path of Exile and Warframe have a lot of player crossover and both companies know this. Warframe admits it by copying PoE's quality of life changes. Path of Exile is aware, but they are like the big innovating brother, always pushing ahead, while Warframe follows stumblingly.

@@Thunderstyle7 Yeah I wish more looter-shooter types would do that to be honest. I think a lot of the problems in those games stem from them not looking at games like PoE enough. Instead of an endgame with procedurally created levels with lots of variation they've evolved from single player campaigns so you end up with a limited amount of hand crafted strikes or whatever which doesn't make grinding a fun experience (running the same 10 strikes again and again rather than some interesting mapping system). The Division is one that does it quite well now though. Lots of different options for grinding endgame and one being the Underground. It's procedurally generated with a different layouts and objectives each time. You also can spend a currency to make each underground run have other modifiers too which gives you buffs, handicaps and more XP/currency etc.
This look incredible and really shows POE has become the standard. Imagine being on the Diablo team at Blizzard. Its no wonder why they went mobile, they aren't capable of competing with this. Impressive work GGG.
