One of the most underrated funk artist of all time, Steve Arrington was so funky that my dogs use to be bouncing to this time when I use to play it back, back , in the 80's, I mean the would make you think that they had a secret about funk😂😂😂
Steve Arrington was everything back then WOW 🔥 fire 🔥 even when he was with Slave as lead vocalist he was most definitely the hottest ❤️ heartthrob ever oh my goodness I was just so in awe of his amazingly vocals he was musically inclined in every way imaginable wow I really miss music like this in the year 2023 wow so in love with Steve ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️he was just everything
This joint right here… started the house party off!! *drip, drop, drip* a sweating good time on the dance floor🔥❤️ “You know I’m your man, I’m your M A N, mama!”

Where in HELL was I when this song came out? They sure were not playing it on the radio!! Only the album-cassette owners at the time were exclusively exposed to this deliciousness!!! Funkmaster Steve!
Where did you live? This was played on the radio on the EAST AND WEST coasts, and on every so-called “Urban” radio station in between. And FYI, MORR folks had the album than the cassette tape.
He became a preacher after the funk anthems and then made an album on Stones Throw records(of all record labels) maybe 2 or 3 years ago and a few songs have that old funk sound. He still sings here and there
Shake That thing, Steve Arrington's Makin it Funky Doin a Dancin ting, making you weak @ the Knees, it's all about thE Source, that Double Sauce, talking the Funk on a journey, Hey billyt97 juS Check-in out thE Multiple Source, of course, thiS is a Excellent Reloaded Mix thank you
TRIED to get his singing style…lol. SWEAT had a nasty attitude, usually. Steve Arrington was COOO. Most of those truly talented had a sense of humility and modesty about themselves. I noticed this personally, when I was a youngster.
This is. So wrong, he was not singing Weak at the Knees while he was wearing that Blue outfit. He had converted to Christianity by that time, and was performing "Feel So Real" while wearing that outfit.
Oh! Didn't know about the Christian-conversion part of his music history. I was just piecing-together some videos to his jammin beat. If I get some overwhelming kickback on this I'll delete the video. Thx for your astute comments.
It's actually his video from his hit single Feel So Real which was a real funky song. I was up and dancing to it like crazy in the clubs when it first came out because I was so used to him making really funky songs back then. I later realized it was a gospel inspired song and felt kind of guilty about dancing like that, lol. He later became a minister. He was dressed in a religious type of robe in the video. I still love it!!
That’s because this video doesn’t match the song or the time period when this song came out. In this video he was more than likely performing Dancing In The Key of Life or Feels So Real and someone slapped Weak At The Knees on top of it. That blue robe was his look for the Dancing In The Key Of Life album which was released two years after his first Hall of Fame album that includes Weak At The Knees.

💯💖🥰💥💣🔥🔥🔥
This is. So wrong, he was not singing Weak at the Knees while he was wearing that Blue outfit. He had converted to Christianity by that time, and was performing "Feel So Real" while wearing that outfit.
Feel So Real is a Song that he sang for his Confessing his life to Christ.
Oh! Didn't know about the Christian-conversion part of his music history. I was just piecing-together some videos to his jammin beat. If I get some overwhelming kickback on this I'll delete the video. Thx for your astute comments.
