I'm an abolute harmonica noob, so please bear with me: I'd love to play along with myself on guitar, but I play this in a weird key, to fit my vioce the best. The A minor chord I play is actually a B flat (I have my capo on the first fret). What harmonica do I need or how do I have to play it differently on the C to make it fit? Sorry if it's hard to understand and thanks in advance!
+DexterVane Hi there, and thanks for the question. If you're a semi-tone up from the original key then you'd really need a C# harmonica. If you get hold of one you can still use the same tab from this video on the C# and it will fit with what you're playing on the guitar. Good luck! Liam
Hail Liam, I like the original recording of the song by dylan and I don't like the hendrix version at all, though it did make the song famous. the watchtowers are used in magic, and each one has a prince, so the east is ruled by the prince of air, or sylph faeries. I have really come to the conclusion that many of these 60s songs can't be played without bass. Trucking and sugar magnolia by the dead are examples. Good work on the harmonica part. I like the original bass line much more than the hedrix. there is a lot more witchcraft going on in this song than I think even dylan is aware of. and there is too much suffering in life for it to be a joke. too much pain only outweighed by the good things in life. peace William

The album version is in C#m (as I state here... ruclips.net/video/ThVJCdXgFNo/видео.html) and he plays an E harp, so if you're switching to Em then you'll need a G harp. to use this tab. Hope that helps!
I have just ordered a set of Hohner Blues Band in the key's of A;Bb;C;D;E;F and G, I have never used these harmonica's I'm was just wondering if there are any good? I have just started playing the harmonica and I have a harmonica in the key of C. I used to be a guitar player but I was in an accident 3 years ago at the age of 20 and I'm now 23 and I have lost the ability to use my right arm hand and wrist.... :( and is there any advice you could give to a one handed player? (I can now only use my left arm and hand... I used to be right handed witch suck major ass! lol :/
