I was a Big WHO FREAK and I wasn't grown up yet. But I heard jungleland dude I thought Bruce was hanging out on the corner with me and the corner boys I swear to God. We were the last white guys hanging out on the street corner. Every weekend the Puerto Ricans would drive by and shoot at us and tell us to get off of their corner. So you can understand why this song was about me and my boys. One of my buddies was to slow to hit the ground. To this day he has a bullet behind his right ear. To close to his brain to remove it. So anywho I have seen Bruce Springsteen 4 times and I have seen THE WHO 5 TIME'S AND MY EARS ARE STILL RINGING AND I fucking love it. Shit I forgot what I was talking about ha ha ha ha. Old age damn it sucks being old. But dude enjoy the greatest rock music ever and if you don't yet. Listen to THE WHO QUADROPHENIA. I saw an interview with Bruce Springsteen walking on the Atlantic City boardwalk. And he told the guy that he saw his very first concert. In the Atlantic City convention center. THE WHO NOW I CAN UNDERSTAND WHERE BRUCE GOT A LOT OF HIS ENERGY AND THE RIGHT WAY OF WRITING ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC. KEEP ROCKING WAYNE. LONG LIVE ROCK WE NEED IT EVERYDAY

I was a teenager living in north Philadelphia pa. I was impressed that someone not far from where I was living had made it so big. Then I heard jungleland and thunder road.
