Really like the Felice Brothers. Could have done without the political commentary. The interviewer bullied them into announcing their agreement with his politics. They’re still an up and coming band, they’re not Dylan or U2. Why make statements that might piss off some of your already work small fan base?
I definitely see something of the best of Dylan's storytelling in Ian's writing, so I do think it is fair to say they are Dylan-esque, in a good way, of course. There's a lot of original qualities there too, impressionism, some abstraction, a lot of grounded lyrics that strike with their pointedness. I think it is an amazing mix of top quality influences and original spark. One of my absolute favorite songwriters
Love that 'Triumph 73' song, the lyric, the cadence, the riff...missed it in Portsmouth NH, we'll have to try again...very cool.
This band soundtracks the beauty and wonder in life for me.
Couldn't beat them with a big stick!
Just awesome.
You guys are awesome! Please play more gigs in NYC.

You aren't bob-dylan like. I hear you as original as the smiths, the pogues, joy division, whatever. Cat Power. YOu've made my life better. Thank you.
