Yes it makes a difference. I dynod before snd after on my OG M2 and it held power to redline 30bhp more than stock. It reduces turbo spool nicely and therefore response. Put a good air intake on to capitalise even more. You have to get V2.
Good to see you picked up the inlet brother, should help keep the turbo healthy. Just sold my 335i for a m240i so will be putting that code to use here soon lol
@@bmwdrivenjust ran across your channel. Great content and information! Quick question, I’m looking for my first bmw. At around 30k I can find a b58 and at around 25k, a N55. In your opinion, will the extra 5k justify jumping into a b58?
Hey, dude! Sent you a message on Instagram, it’s probably in the hidden request, but I wanted to ask you a question here, totally unrelated to the video, if you don’t mind. I just picked up a 2014 435i M sport (28k miles) actually drove it across country home. For most of my trip, the oil temp gauge stayed slightly before the 250 mark. Sometimes it’ll run a drop cooler. I was running through ambient temps anywhere from 30-65 degrees f, rarely anything over that. Once I got it home, I had a bmw specialist go over it and said it was in perfect condition (thank God!) we also did an oil change, Motul 5w40 was used. The car was dealer maintained, so not sure exactly what was used before for oil. Since being back home in LA, I’ve noticed the oil temp really stabilizing at 250, where as before it was running at 240-245 according to the gauge. This has all been with regular driving, not beating on it at all. Oh, it has an oil cooler, I believe the non M sport models don’t (?) I checked with the first mechanic and he said this is normal for this car. I also check with another specialist and he said the same. I just wanted to get you opinion since you’re very knowledgeable and have had a ton of experience with this platform. This is my first BMW, so I’m learning. Thank you for any help! And can honestly ease my mind lol
@@N55Koby Yeah, I like the refined F chassis with a very linear power band with the N55. My E chassis N54 felt more raw, but was extremely expensive to maintain. I bought both cars for around the 25K mark.
Aye man love the videos quick question have you thought about swapping out the cams and putting N52 cams I have seen it gives power and helps a lot top end.
any way to get a high res picture of your car at the end of the video? that is an absolutely beautiful picture i have pretty well the same car same colour working on build myself and that car is an inspiration. picking up my arc-8's asap

Good luck my friend!
Ok what happened
About to do this to my car already running E30 with Recently replaced NGK laser iridium spark plugs and FBO
Nice Rafael, you won't be disappointed with this mod. I would recommend paying a shop for this job unless you have a whole day off to give it a go!
cant wait to see the dyno results especially with the new fuel pump
and i would say the n55 motor is the best car for the price range i cant name a better car for around the 25k range
Mee too! Thanks for supporting brother.
