The rogue was pretty bad... You should always use combat readiness by the time you get knocked down. Trinket - CR. In the last fight he used CR at 10% health and thats stupid as hell.

I didnt know it was possible to lose against a warrior
as a rogue. I was beating warrior without being hit once.

and this "superb" fear after stunlock tactic is screwed.
Noone can convince me that the best warr can come even close to the best rogue in 4.3. I don't believe this.

@ThinkGreenxD rogues have a different mechanic system then warriors, the rogues have to use 5 combo points to get energy regen plus recuperate allowing less ability uses then a warrior in the same amount of time
including to ulvarla123's comment, he also works out if you've seen any of his other videos, which motivated other WoW players to not just sit in front of a computer. Swifty-works out, "slightly above average" gamer, and helps out people. seems like an ideal model to me. not even ideal, his character is actually achieveable if you try. so it's not like an impossible dream to be like him.
Wow, never could have thought that watching wow-videos to help me beat different classes in-game I've had problems with. Usually WoW-videos are very badly commentated and have horrible quality but yours, Swifty, are fucking awesome if put simply. Thank you and sorry for rude language! =)

Idk if the rogue doesnt know this 'cause he doesnt have a warrior, but popping evasion shouldnt only be to avoid a throwdown if you can measure that CD internally in ur head, not to mitigate damage

Dear sir, Please learn that Bladestorm is not a AOE ability, AOE(Area of effect) hits all the targets in a area, bladestorm is made from wirldwinds(hits only 4 targets), so if 20 targets were near me and i cast bladestorm, i would hit only 4:) /respect.

Why disarm? Feint will stop 50% of the incoming damage allowing the use for disarm later in the fight.
SD lasts for 6 sec, with glyph lasts for 8 sec.
Ambush deals about 15-20K, depends on ur resilience ofc.
@roguekie it depends on what combo your are playing with / against.
for example if its double dps on the enemy team you need to peel so they dont burst your mate down(smokebomb shadowdance burst + dmg from somebody else = killing blow in ~6 secs) but if its heal you can wait it out

You forgot 'Dismantle' - any rogue should use this as a WW stopper. Anyway once again a nice vid!
I have no idea why that rogue wouldnt use combat readiness earlier in the fight, it would totally negate the warrior damage

Are you being sarcastic? Warrior's intimidating shout is not a spell, it will affect a rogue through cloak of shadows.
dude, I hate cataclysm, don't even play wow anymore but I'm still subscribed for your channel and watch your videos weekly. You are awesome, blizzard should pay you, you are their greatest promoter lol.... (at least for warriors). I learnt so much from u, thanks for the awesome work you are doing, ppl get really into the game even ppl like me who quitted WoW.

I'm surprised to see that rogue didn't use expose armor or recuperate. might seem pointless and a waste of combo points but I use them and eat warriors up like they are nothing. dismantle also helps if you can get it off before a warrior uses his whirlwind...
If you play 2v2 and you get saped, do you pop berserker rage to help your partner in case they open on him or do you sit it, and save the cooldowns?
If you're already in def stance to mitigate damage, why not throw a disarm after the fear then continue with your stuns/burst rotation?
what's that addon that displays when he is stunned and when he has positive buffs on himself with big pictures
how does it come that the rogue you're dueling doesn't dismantle you when you pop bladestorm?

Gotta admit I don't get why the rogue is using evasion during his "stun lock" I mean it's not like he's getting hit while having his opponent stunned

I love your videos and i'm pretty sure people will agree with me that whenever you need to take a break from the video if it ever stresses you out. you basically made it your lifes mission to do these things and those camras in your house are to proove it we love your videos because they are good so dont risk making videos that are bad but you make a lot of them

idk why everyone is hating on the rogue, he could have been cheap and ran around and kited and preped, but that would be cheap and uninteresting. It was a good honest fight! Nice video swifty :D

a good rogue never start with cheap shot if you are in defensive stance
a good rogue starts with garrote when your in defensive stance and gets recu and when you switch to battle stance uses shadowdance for burst
So what your trying to say is, Rogues are over-powered?
You don't have to trinket the sap at the beginning of the fight, you can berserker rage it.

@gwes31 a warriors out-of-bladestorm dmg is higher than bladestorms, the only advantage of bladestorm is aoe dmg and immune to slow, just use sprint and run instead, disarm on the deadly calm/reck

2) and rogues don't spec against warriors :/ (im still not a rogue)
Neilyo's method dueling warriors is different as well and really effective, I do not suggest the CS to kidney opener.

you have to grab the glyph if u want to prep disarm. however its true he should have saved disarm for the bladestorm
Hey i do just want to note that the rogue always used his disarm for no reason he should have saved it for the bladestorm. There is no reason why a rogue should lose to a warr and if you do your just a bad rogue. So one of two things come out of that vid. 1 the rogue was really bad and didnt know how to play well. 2: or swfity told him to use it so he had a chance on killing him. Choose which ever you want but we all know he would not win against a real rogue.

Long time fan, love your videos! My best friend and I run 2s on Sargeras, im Rshaman and hes Arms warrior, i always send him to your videos for tips and tricks. Rogues are deff. so OP this patch! we always get rogue/dpriest and while we can hold out we hardly win. Great video! keep them coming. Oh and hope i get the headset!

@bondicuss Most rogues will agree that it's better to Feint Bladestorm and save the Dismantle for the Shield Wall.
Ive recently become fascinated by rogues. They have very strong utility in fights.
I wish they would buff Bladestorm a bit so we could "RGHLBRHRBGLGBRG" in Battlegrounds again :) Great vid swifty !

I hate to say but I do NOT open like this on my rogue and ANY rogue I've seen 2k and above wont either. Here is my reasoning: #1 premed/Cheap - into recup / hemo willing running / sprint = restealth and IF they in range you can bomb. This gives the rogue the full recup and a chance to open again with an ambush into dance to force MAJOR cd's or eat serious dmg. The rest is all situation and there are other ways to open on the warrior but I really dislike the cheap shoot to kidney
