5000 Subscriber Special [Part 1] - Mandelbrot Fractal Zoom (e3200) (4k 60fps)

  • The little fractal channel "Maths Town" has made it to 5000 subscribers! An amazing achievement for such a niche topic. Thank-you to everyone who has subscribed, commented and contributed and generally made this a fun little channel to operate. To celebrate we are going big, and we are going deep. 1e3200. (That is 1 with 3200 zeros after it! ). At the time of release this is the deepest video at Maths Town.
One of the unexpected highlights of this channel has been the interest from the music community, and as such this video includes music from long time subscriber "Dumbledog". You may remember his awesome electronic sounds from the "Disciples" video. In fact one of the pieces of music was written specifically for this video! His unique sound is made for fractal videos. Be sure to check out his stuff
    Dumbledog's page: dumbledog.band...
As always, if the music is not to your taste, just play your own in the background.
This video is deliberately a little bit of a tribute to the video that started this channel "11 Dimensions". It is quite a similar location. This video should appeal more to those who like the long hypnotic style of video, it is perhaps not as feature rich as some other videos. That said, there are some cool parts, so be sure to comment with the time of cool locations.
As usual, with the deeper zooms, things get pretty dense and circular in the 2nd half of the video. The 2nd half of every Mandelbrot video is a result of decisions made in the first half (played back at higher and higher symmetries). Usually I make an effort to keep the second half interesting. In this particular video I had more of a "come what may" attitude, so things get a bit crazy dense.
Note: This video is now broken into 2. It has taken me forever to get RUclips to show this in HD. So you may notice that there is now more than 5000 subscribers on the channel.
Thank-you to my supporters on Patreon.

It`s helpful to free your mind, dont think (for the howto, sense or nonsense)... just be! A Freefall into abyss. But i aren`t scared, this trip makes me happy! Some Questions rise after a while: where do u (all watchers!) look if zoom is running? Why the rendering doesnt move to another (doesnt matter which) Point? Is that always mathematic? like the zoom? and who decide the way of zoom? I know it`s an old Video but maybe there are some watchers right now?!!! If i had a Monitor with 20k (not "only" 8k), do i see then details before zooming there? And hottest question of all: WHY DO MANDELBROT THIS FRACTAL? Was it coincidence? ty for answer!

I absolutely love the depth of coloration and the speed with which you advance it. Some videos are so fast you haven't the time to really appreciate the intricacies of the designs. This is perfection.

17:05 or 50:51 I love those "strings of pearls". There are many of them in this video and the coloration gives them a different effect every time. Sometimes they look to me like sparkling stars, sometimes like flowers, thread algae or tentacles of a jellyfish. I like that there is a lot of violet and colours with large proportions of red. From 54:00 there are spine-like structures, like the backbones of fantastic species.
1:51 i'd call it the "crocheted potholder" and the middle of that one is amazing O.O

dude for your epic zooms you need way more subs..people just dont get the amazing thing they are seeing! plus 4 k at 60fps...i used to render 3d mandlebulb and i know what it takes to make a decent video - talk about dedication! my channel is not that big yet but if you ever wanted to pair up my brainwave music i can feature your work on my channel! but that's just a kind thought...not sure if it will bring many subscribers for you! regardless this is amazing and everyone knows it! thats whats up! i rendered these also and man does it take time...but what a result!

This is one of the few things I still remember from my acid trips in the 60s and 70s. The perfectly symmetrical geometric patterns that seemed to morph continuously that I could see with my eyes open or closed. Incredible detail and color.

This is the math that creates the universe (s). The simplicity of the math and the way the combinations present themselves shows a lot about biosecurity as well as that life on other planets will be similar in theme to our own. When considered in conjunction with the hundreds of millions of near death studies that have been recorded in every country I find myself convinced of the eternal reality of our situation here. After the revelation has completed a new religious understanding with fractals as a part of its core will bring many years of peace to this Earth.

This may be a year old comment but I'm gonna reply for anyone reading. All of these mandelbrot zoom videos zoom into a single point. There is never any panning of the camera, its just the unintuitive nature of the structure of the mandelbrot set. The center of the screen never changes location.
