I tried that personally, very uneventful unfortunately, though that might be because voices in Sonic Heroes (and a lot of SEGA's other games of this era, including ports of Dreamcast games) are stored as ADX files as compared to being stored as typical CD-DA data.

You should try games with similar engines like shin magami tensei. Maybe you could get assets to load from one game into another?
This only works with engines of the same iteration ie GTA 3 and Vice City can load each other's assets but GTA SA can't load either
