- These are the commercials for "The Taste You Can See" campaign used for Cinnamon Toast Crunch from 1995 to 2008. Some of the commercials are repeats (or duplicates). Enjoy!!
1) Charles The Camp Consular (1995): Includes "Aaahh!!! Real Monsters" flipbook (also the last one to use the camera showing the cereal).
2) Stan The Safari Explorer (1996-1997): 3 versions of this, one with the "Toy Story" flipbook, one that is longer (includes the Johnny Quest glow-in-the-dark T-Shirt) & one with the breakfast babies (also the first commercial to use the 1996-2010 cereal footage)
3) Rod Lightning The Weatherman (1997): Includes the DQ coupon inside.
4) Miss B. The Nosey Neighbor (1997): 4 versions of this, one is the full version (which is rare), one that is short (includes the French Toast Crunch cereal), one with the "Shock Tarts" & one with the Koosh toy.
5) Science Teacher (1998-1999): 2 versions of this, one with the "A Bug's Life" figures & the other one with the "Toy Story 2" CD-ROM game.
6) Max The Security Guard (1998-1999): 3 versions of this, one with the spy glasses, one with the cinnamon flavored hot tamales & one with the SweetTarts.
7) Crazy Swirls (1998): Includes the fortune teller toy inside.
8) Lance The Lifeguard (1999-2003): My favorite commercial that I like.
9) Aliens (1999-2003): Includes alien shapes.
10) Nurse Cratchit The School Nurse (2000): Take two and call me in the morning, like medicine. I always take vitamins in the morning after I eat.
11) Ozzy The Umpire (2003-2004): Baseball is a very good sport to play outside.
12) Captain Forrest The Submarine Commander (2003): 3 versions of this, one that is the full version, one that is short (includes a CD-ROM game inside) & one that has tickets to the movies (the one is the Canadian version of this cereal, not the US version).
13) Isadora The Fortune Teller (2003): Isadora can see your dream in the future.
14) Oz The Ski Instructor (2005): 2 versions of this, one is the full version & the other one is the short version (includes the Peanut Butter Toast Crunch cereal).
15) Billy The DJ (2005): I remember seeing this one along with the Reese's Puffs "Ticket Line" & "Garage" commercial.
16) Butch The Bodyguard (2006): Every celebrity needs a bodyguard or not.
17) Nigel The Music Video Director (2006): Rock Band or Guitar Hero anybody? That guy has a Australian accent.
18) Inspector Nelson (2008): Includes the Batman action figures inside.
19) Amazon John The Tour Guide (2008): 2 versions of this, one with the girl saying the girl parts and the boy saying the boy parts & the other one is the same, but different. The girl says the boy parts while the boy says the girl parts (which is kinda rare).
I own nothing.
This ad campaign was much better than the "Vore Squares" we got got in the 2010s.
I love those crazy man-eating squares in my opinion.

And now, we got shrimp tails added to the mix and call it Cinnamon Shrimp Crunch.

That's (name of person). He/she sees (something related to his/her profession). But can he/she see why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch? It's got (something related to his/her profession)? (Verb) the (noun), (vaguely insulting nickname related to his/her profession). It's got cinnamon sugar swirls on every bite! (Interjection related to the adult person's profession). Cinnamon Toast Crunch, the taste you can see!! XD :P
I guess that's part of why I found these commercials so hilarious back in the day. Lol
The scene that's constant in all of them with the milk pouring over the cereal and then the spoon raising brought back a lot of memories lol. Crazy how such a small thing is stored away in the brain forever.

Which were supposed to come in the Monster Cereals.
Tried this cereal for the first time today, always remembered these commercials as a kid, but always thought it was actual toast and was weird because why would you want soggy toast?

Mmm-hmm. Scream #7 is a sound effect that is jealous. 💚😒 It gained massive popularity in classic Cartoon Network original shows like Dexter's Laboratory and The Powerpuff Girls, and a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Jungle commercial from the mid-1990's. No wonder Scream #7 is iconic.

I remember a short campaign they ran just before this where they'd dump cinnamon on the adults who were trying to figure it out. I can't seem to find them.

Exactly right. There was a shift to whole grain for most cereal products and the sugar was scaled back along with the formula for many cereals just being changed. This is the case for many cereal brands in addition to maybe our tastebuds getting older
