Thanks a lot for posting this Canadian classic eh. In the finest screen quality the hosers were ever displayed at.
There weren't a whole lot of bright spots in entertainment of the 1980's but these two were near the top. Seeing all the spots of Great white north that simply didn't get shown in American SCTV broadcasts, it's a wonder they still caught on how they did such that I beat a path to the theater for the premier of Strange Brew when it came to southern California in 1983 eh. The TV ads showed perfectly what the movie would be like, i.e. same sort of funny as GWN except lots more of it eh! So I scraped up the $3 for view and I was not disappointed. Funny script full of humor, beer references, Doug bullying Bob, music, gags, beers, Doug putting Bob in a choke-hold apropos of nothing, beer, even some sort of a plot. More beer. "Brew" was a masterfully done epic of timeless-yet-low-budget cinema that still entertains to this very day.
Strange Brew is a classic example of Canadian cinema at its finest eh.

It’d be nice if they would put the year & the season these episodes came out.

Search Google using SCTV, Great White North, check Wikipedia. This was in the 81-82 Season 4 Cycle 2. Good luck searching

From what I know of Canadian PM, both these guys would be better than Trudeau!

It'd be entertaining watching them trying to address parliament and then arguing amongst one another.
