Try putting you begonias under a desk lamp. I’ve rescued a Rex begonia at a nursery. It’s all lanky and wilted, but under I placed it under a lamp it started to perk up! I hope this help

Ric and Swifter plants and Gardinos I haven’t order from them maybe I have not heard them till now. I have more hoya wishlist that I need to add in my collection. I just recently killed my macrophylla trying to convert to Leca . I get you of totally being scared ordering plants at this seasons coz I’m from Wisconsin and I haven’t order plants online coz I’m afraid to order some plants . By the way I have watch you with Pretty in Plants last time glad to be here coz I’m avid plant collector too and sharing my passion here . Also I’m a hoya heads 😂. New friend by the way .

Maike S I think I will convert them. I’m just not sure if I’ll wait a week or wait until spring. I’ll probably get antsy and just wait a week 😂 I will try to record as much as I can. 🥰

Have you tried begonia in leca. Want to try with mine but am a little worried they wont survive.
Lise Halloran I do have one begonia Rex in leca. It’s doing very well. It’s one that I picked up in store and didn’t really care about, so I plopped it into some leca and mostly forgot about it. It looked wilty with crusty leaf edges for a while. But now it’s super happy and the new leaves look great.
Even with that experience, I’m still nervous to switch the ones that I don’t want to lose. 🙈
Most Begonias like to dry out between watering, I’m guessing it won’t work.
