If your laminate is too thin run it through with a shim to keep from getting the bubbles and keep your project flatter or you can wait till it cools and run it through a second time. A hot laminator always makes a flatter project than a cool laminator, I loved this project and will try it. I laminate a lot of items.
Love how these turned out. Creative Fabrica is one of my favourite sites and have sooooo many ClipArt images that I love, as well as the gold/silver/rose gold flakes and Thanks to you I have even more amazing ways of creating things using them. TFS
You just gave me a terrific idea! I like to write my daily scripture on a card and tape it into my journal. But I think I am going to design some cards and cut with my Cricut and make a yearly book of them! Thanks!!
Loved these! I now have so many ideas, thank you! Okay, now hear me out... for the gilding flakes- maybe you could try a weed grinder. Preferably a metal one. It is made for a similar purpose and would be easy to clean lol idk just a thought. Anyway TFS!! I can't wait to make my own :)
I love these & this video is right on time! I was planning on making a laminate cover or dashboard out of some of my kids pictures but I was uncertain how to make out work. Now I want some of those flakes to to in it. Tfs!
Beautiful dashboards, thank you for sharing! This is so helpful & you explained everything so well. For some reason it never occurred to me that you can run it through the laminator more than once 😅 Thank you!
Thank you very much, I learned everything about lamination I needed to know from your video. I never wanted a laminator, due mostly to the perceived wasted cut-offs. You have shown me there can be much less waste than I thought. Everything you demonstrated taught me what to use and what to avoid. I also like your sense of style. Have a great Sunday!
I love the way these turned out. I have a lot of the old school over head projector sheets I think I will use. Thank you for sharing, you gave me a lot of ideas.
how about adding some of the flakes near where you have put the tape to disguise the double sided tape? Also you have sold me on using the dolls, they are so cute I really love using them on the pockets - I have used the flimsy 3 mil Wal-Mart laminate to create pockets, by using the laminate pieces that I have, I folded up the laminate up and used duckbrand to hold the sides closed, & packaging tape on another 1 to continue with the clear look, than double sided tape to hold it to my covers.
Hi, I have some vellum that I ordered from Amazon. I tried to print out some cute designs but I'm having trouble with it because it keeps smearing. Do you have that problem with the vellum you have? Or do you have any tips on how to prevent that happening?
Hi, Yes, you have to be very careful with it. Designs that use minimal ink are best. Also print one page at a time and allow it time to dry after it comes out of the printer. If it's smearing as it comes out of the printer, which is not a problem I've ever had, try printing at normal or even draft quality so that less ink is deposited on the vellum. I hope this helps.
I've watched this video several times...I want to try but I just feel it's not going to turn out right 😕. Beautiful
Try it! You can do it.
I liked the video before watching it cause I knew I would love it! ❣
❤ Thank you so much!
Dryer sheet for static is helpful on laminating plastics. 😊
I break mine up in a coffee grinder that I bought just for planning

Your print outs are so colorful & vivid! Which printer do you use??
I use an old HP Deskjet 2600 series. I prefer HP printers because of the Instant Ink program.
@@scrapcraftastic .. ty!
You're welcome!
Quick question ...can i also just put the die cuts and sticker in between a lamination sheet
Absolutely. I only used vellum because it's thinner and I wanted it to be as flat as possible, but sticker and die cuts can be laminated.
Do you have a video showing how to do this with tabs on them??
No, but I can make one.
@@scrapcraftastic ... that would be great!

@@scrapcraftastic Thank you for replying. Do you have a video on how to do that. I'm new to this
No, I don't, but if you use Adobe to print and go to PREFERENCES, you should be able to set the print quality there.
@@scrapcraftastic Thanks again
