- The plaintiff dated the defendant and says their relationship was extremely toxic. After they broke up, the plaintiff found out she was pregnant, and she is suing the defendant for unpaid child support. The defendant claims he has paid child support. He’s countersuing for a child support refund.

That capital murder charge really caught my attention, so I looked it up: He was accused of hiring some other dude to kill a pregnant woman. The defendant Mashaun's charges were dropped (couldnt find out why) but the guy he allegedly hired is still up on charges, awaiting trial.

A 55 inch television 📺 for your daughter would not usually be considered child support to the judge, the judge usually considers that a gift.

I believe everything the defendant said. He didn't hesitate to say he hit her back. She started out being desperate first date at his house she pregnant before the month out. She wasn't worried about him being crazy because she tote her craziness in a bag with her she so throwed off. She tried to speak right on pass the VA payments. Put yourself on child support is great advice. Judge should've let them both went back to childsupport to sort it out since its a discrepancy on payments.

You can tell she was the aggressor and the problem thru the whole relationship, she’s the bitter one and she is most likely holding their child as a pond towards him.

Visitation and support are not the same. When you put the government in the middle,it's not just for the mother to get paid. The father has rights too. So if he overpaid,she owes him.

Kids can get VA and social security benefits because of their parents… it’s not child support or from the CS system.
Right in some states but for most states the SSI and VA can garnish a certain amount to ph towards child support. The only thing they can’t touch in most states are disability checks. But yea they definitely can take those VA checks😂

This case was the definition of a dysfunctional volatile relationship reminds me a lot of my previous relationship and now i have two sons with someone who I absolutely don’t get along with

VA benefits is not child support….that’s basically BAH from the military. It’s not court mandated and he can take the child off if he wanted too
You are correct. On the other hand depending on the state, the government will consider that as income and will calculate how much a veteran has to pay in child support. Based on this case, the state is garnishing some of his.

If that V.A Check would be going to him & its not its going to his daughter how is he not paying?
@@NRansom She served him months/years later after the child was born. The state then considered his VA disability check as income, and started deducting a percentage.

I looked him up he was accused of participating in a contract killing Scandal, I don't know if he was prosecuted/charged but she wasn't lying about that. The paperwork alone states that he owes back child support so that's not a lie. She also admitted that she was getting some sort of payments from the VA and she told him he would need to modify that if he wanted that to count towards child support, so from those few things alone she was telling some truth...so once again how was everything she said false???

As a veteran, I say this to other veterans in the comment section...
The government is tired of fully footing the bill, for your children. Depending on the state, va disability is considered income and they will take that in consideration when determining how much child support is to be paid monthly.
In this case, the (state) government is garnishing some of that VA disability check.
Also depending on the state, if you are not on child support (yet), there are other means to keep a record of financial compensation that you have provided to the child, by way, of the custodial parent.
Things like Cashapp, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Splitwise can be used. Make sure to notate the purpose of the funds in the comment/note section before you hit send. Also keep paper documentation /copies. Be careful out there.
