I don't mean to offend you or anything but saying "misogyny/misandry" is quite ineffective, Sexism is kind of one way, it affects both genders. Sexism (and also racism and such) are based upon oppression. There's no systematic discrimination aimed towards (white, cis, hetero) men. So, just using the term "sexism" works fine. Also your last sentence was a double negative, I'd love to know what you meant by "I've never met a man whom didn't put down a gay man but not a gay woman." :D
Yes, women masturbating is seen as the evil of all evils, at least in the United States. And lesbians are more sexualized than gay men, but they still face a lot of backlash. I don't really think the two can be compared because they face different kinds of discrimination because of misogamy/sexism.
I feel like guys (and other people who have penises) should do the same with the mirror. I know it was actually kind of weird for me when I first saw kind of the underside of my penis, and just looking at it from that reflected perspective. It really gave me an interesting view of it, and I think other people who have penises could benefit from this.
