Solar panels usually won't provide enough power to propel a boat. The boat will have rechargeable batteries, but they will be very slow to recharge. Panels work best with bright direct sun. Be careful before buying a boat. Reflected sun off the water is not a good power source. Range will be very limited. Enjoy your trip.

The VP is president if Biden resigns. That is a good reason for Biden not to resign even though no one knows who is in control right now. This would have affected more then just the presidential race. It would have helped or caused the GOP gain seats in both houses to the point of majorities. This would have created the same circumstance of the first two years of Trumps first term. Which would have made it possible for Trump to fulfil his election promises. That is why Trump had an early debate, he did not want his duplicity exposed again. He has no intention of fulfilling his election promises. No democrat can beet Trump but the GOP can now lose or at least not gain seats in both houses because of the Biden health issue.
