I love that they're doing Claremont storylines. It worked in TAS and it can work here. My main gripe with 97 is the subpar animation (the characters look like they're obviously green screened onto the backgrounds).

What I got in return was a five-minute earful of the Sins of Scott Summer, to which I had no idea how deep the well ran. The biggest frustration I had with X2 is that Cyclops is barely in it. I posted a comment on this too. I had horrible acid reflux. I lost like 20lbs because I was scared to eat. Nothing worked. I was also dealing with bad anxiety. They kind of fed into each other. My doctor put me on Prozac for anxiety and the acid reflux, glubus, etc. went away. Don't know if that would work for everyone, it was the right thing for me. @@marcogenovesi8570 it also sounded like he might have done some weird stuff like promote an only fans where he shows nudity, which isn't really the rep you want when promoting a children's cartoon
Sorry about the reflux Zack. I’ve struggled with the same thing the last few years, although it’s gotten better. I would get stomach acid come up my esophogus when I was sleeping and basically it was giving me painful ulcers leading to all kinds of health problems. I started taking magnesium as it’s supposed help heal the damaged valve that separates your stomach and esophogus and also slippery elm extract to help heal the digestive tract. I also try to stay away from drinking too much alcohol and also acidic foods and drinks. Not eating late at night before bed also helps it a lot. Anyways I hope you can get it under control soon and not have to deal with it anymore because it really does suck a lot.
The thing with X-Men is that the characters (even when they're written well) are lowkey antisocial and often prone to violence. And an animated show geared for kids MUST water that stuff down. But in comics, you never knew when Wolverine would suddenly go berserk and slash someone into spaghetti and cartoons can't do that stuff. The Nineties X-Men animated show is good, I guess. But it doesn't have the power that Spider-Man or Batman: The Animated Series still do.
Honestly the worst past of the show is the tank top that Gambit wears in the first episode . But I swear I’ve seen Remy wear a tank top in 90s comics , like a baseball issue . The stuff with Magneto at the end of the second episode was chefs kiss man . I honestly didn’t expect something this good .
Claremont the GOAT! His tenure on one book and run will never be upended. So many plot threads pulled from his pre-existing stories by Niceiza and Lobdell. I appreciate the 2 of them tried to carry on the Claremont run. Unlike the multiple reboots we've forgotten ever since
See, I loved that tank because it looked so early 90s! I had a friend who wore stuff like that to play basketball with us. He's got a wife and a baby on the way! I think, in maybe a less-woke-washed world, it'd be just another weird 90s trend. But I'd be lying if I didn't spend the entire first episode bracing myself for stupid activism.
I can't put into words how good it is to see Cyclops done right after decades of dogshit. I've never seen such a 180 on a character happen in real time. Honestly, I was impressed with most of the cast. Storm was excellent.
@@vitaminrstudios I just want to see Cyclopse not shat on and The Trial of Magneto done well. And an actual Cable not the Cable we got in the old series.
@@crestofhonor2349 No, Studio Mir was created by the animation supervisors of Avatar, They started during the production of Korra Which had plenty of 2.5D. They do amazing 2d animation but have also done 3d shows, Dragon Prince, the recent Babylon 5 etc. This is the best Non Photo rendering of 3d animation, but they go back in with 2d traditional cleanup on the frames. That's why it looks so convincing.
@@marcogenovesi8570 All modern 2D shows are not made like that. Most 2D series don't use much CG except for more complex objects like vehicles, which has been a thing since the 90s
Yeah it's really good, love the ending scene with wolverine and morph in the second episode. Now they just gotta do the same treatment for the 90s Spider-Man series, resume right after it's cliffhanger ending. Should definitely follow the J Straczynski run. Also did you watch the X-Men 90s episode with just Wolverine and Cap? I think it was written by Len Wein and I thought it was a pretty good one-shot
I’ll put a bit of Sri Racha sauce on my pan fried crow…. The references to Krakoa era X-Men in the trailer did not do this show any favors, nor did Gambit riding a non-detonating Wolverine. I would also contend that the X-Men brand has taken more than a few hits for longer than 10 years. “Magneto was right,” has been the way of the X-Men for far too long.
@Mailman029 could be said to your lot and those channels Heard nothing but woke this woke that and it will be trash, but now it's looking good, the excuse now is "Wait until episode 4!! That's when the MESSAGE TM will come out"
The animation looks stilted and that is my biggest problem 2 episodes in. Sometimes it looked borderline like Archer. I understand you felt it looked great, but as an animation consumer, it didn't look good compared to what I remember from the original series.
havent seen the episodes myself, but going off the trailers, looked like 3D models with 2D traced over to me. If even traced. Might've just been a really good 2D filter. Either way, that's probably whats setting it off for you. 3D models only bend so far, 2D drawn frames might technically be imperfect in terms of being 100% on model but they'll always feel more alive.
Maybe you should start reviewing later episodes of the original series. If you haven't seen the later seasons. Maybe not season 5 or halfway through season 4 lol . Really falls apart there animationwise especially.
I don't know what you mean by an acid attack. I used to suffer from horrible acid reflux, was on medication for years, ended up with a scarred throat and uvula. And this is going to sound like one of those crazy home remedies pushed by internet nuts, but it works for me: I do two shots of apple cider vinegar every night. When I started this within days it cleared up my attacks. I still have some residual effects from the scarring on my throat, sometimes I choke when I drink liquids, but this nutty home remedy took care of my acid reflux. So maybe give it a try. Thanks for the X-men review, makes me want to check it out.
If this is successful then I would like a spider-man tas continuation, it left off with him and madam web going to find the real MJ and that would be very cool to see him finally find her after he thought she was dead.
My biggest gripe from the trailer was that the animation just didn’t look very good, so if that’s actually not an issue, I’ll give it a go. My expectations aren’t high, but I’m willing to be surprised. I would always prefer things be good than not.
@@crestofhonor2349You’re definitely right. As a kid at the time I didn’t know any better know, but the gap in quality between what was happening in X-Men and Batman the Animated Series even at the time is kind of shocking. And in the year 2024 AD, there’s just no excuse for a poorly animated action cartoon, especially with Disney’s bankroll behind it.
Sunspot was the son of a black Brazilian father and a white American mother. He was what we call in Brazil a mulatto (a mixed-race person of white and black ancestry), or, simply brown.
Actually, I do "ask for this" quite often when it comes to old media that could use lots of new polish. This is a great example, being that the OG show certainly was a far cry from being a masterpiece. My only problem with getting these wishes granted is that it's often a wish granted by a monkey's paw. Remember how the new Thundercats show turned out? I do.
if its good, it's good! I'm happy to hear they got it right. as far as "nobody asked for this", I look at this 2 ways. first, with arts and entertainment, we don't ask for it. they give it to is and we decide if we like it or not. the other way to look at it is people create pop culture, which shapes real culture and entertainment takes cues from culture to indirectly give us what they think people would like. kind of like giving us what we ask for, indirectly, in a sense.
When you talked about a new generation liking X-Men so that they don't fall out of pop culture I immediately thought "the kids have to like it" Last night my eldest son (6) caught the last half of episode 2, I left auto play on so the original series started playing and he kept watching, this morning he says "I want to watch X-Men". Mission accomplished.
Just finished watching it. I picked up the first VHS of the original animated X-Men at a Kasern in Germany while my dad was stationed there. It was the same place I bought my first comic book, also X-Men. I will say that this is the best X-Men anything I have seen in a decade. I really, really love it so far. My wife, who's also a giant nerd, was sitting next to me enjoying every bit of it too. This right here, this portrayal of Storm, is exactly why I get fucking livid every time some know-nothing fake "comics fan" claims that they've never seen a strong black female leader in a comic book. She's fucking cool! Also, my man Bishop got his own title card!!!
I'm not a Marvel guy, but I have the same feeling about Gambit in a half-shirt. Rogue & Gambit were together so much, I just assumed at some level I had confused them as far as what they were wearing
I don't know if you have one, but you could try a wedge shaped pillow to help avoid reflux during sleep. They are around $50 and could help you sleep without waking up coughing, if you find them comfortable. I don't really have much problem with reflux, but when I do, chicken stock soup (without onions and less salt) with a lot of carrots usually helps put my stomach in order. And about the show.. I don't like the art style, so I was going to skip it anyway. It looks like they made a 3D animation in source filmmaker then put a cheap adobe knock-off comic filter over it. I understand that they want to go for nostalgia, but this just looks cheap and incompetent for me. The 2011 X-men anime just pounds this in the ground with its art style. Meanwhile, the only episodes that I remember from the old series were the ones that hey lifted from the comics, so I had no expectation of this show breaking ground in any way either.
First 3 episodes have been perfect. I’m in my mid-30s now but this cartoon was my favourite thing and what got me into comics back in the 90s. It’s crazy I feel like they made this show just for me. Chase Conley is one of the directors and art designers and I’ve followed him for years. He used to post xmen art in the style Minowa (Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D) so when I found out he was involved I was confident it would be high quality.
Haven't watched it or the original series, but some of the clips I've seen have been choppy animation wise, is that consistent throughout the show, or something that only occasionally happens?
I was on the hate train. Made videos about it. I gladly ate my crow in my video to review it. I really liked it. However, I'm still waiting for the rest of it. Disney has a real talent of releasing awesome premiers and then the show goes downhill.
I think you should go back and watch more of TAS cause the writing in that old series has some serious highs like the nightcrawler episodes and the wolverine origins. I liked it but it scares me to think how they will handle Kurt when he's introduced.
Hopefully, they won't touch anything that was established in Nightcrawler's episodes of the original XM: TAS and won't portray him the way he was during the Krakoa era, which was unbearable. This is the bare minimum but Marvel has no self respect so you never know.
Good to hear. I have the episodes queued to watch. I was kind of dreading watching, at the time it originally aired the X-men cartoon was cooler in my mind than BTAS or Spider-man. BTAS holds up better but i loved the old x-men the animated series. The fact that Cyclops is well represented is exciting since he was always my favorite character. I was disappointed by the lack of detail on rogue's asscrack. But i guess i can deal with that.
Hey brother, take it easy, I know how horrible those acid attacks could be. For me, the cucumber salad from a Thai place actually helps with my acid/heartburn problems. I'm glad the first two episodes have been solid, I might binge the series if it's actually good.
Your acid reflux sounds pretty next level. I had some pretty bad acid reflux for a while. I was in a bad place. I tried everything from diet suggestions to apple cider vinegar to sleeping upright... i was going through a rough time. My shrink told me I had anxiety. He put me on Prozac. The first noticeable thing to go away was my acid reflux. Soon I was sleeping like a baby. Can it be tied to anxiety. You are a pretty well read, well rounded guy. I don't think there is any talk about the anxiety/acid reflux correlation. Anxiety is tied to the visceral or fight/flight instinct. Mine didn't develop until my 40s, after years of precie depression which evolved into anxiety. Caveat: I started vaping a lot recently. I am trying to quit. That lump in my throat feeling associated with Acid Reflux (globus) is back. I need to quit.
Have you seen the clip of a female singer being interviewed and thinking musicians do magic. No idea if it was an Andy Kaufman style joke where the audience isn't in on it.
I saw WorldClassBullshitters do a review on it before your video and I was surprised, they said the same as you. Especially about cyclops and how the show actually respected him. I'm so annoyed how the early 2000s-present treated cyclops in both the movies and shows(and really the comics too) as a asshole type or in recent times as a villain. It's nice to see for once, cyclops being the team leader and care about his team. But I will probably be cautious through, this is how they reel you in. Give you a few good episodes or a couple of seasons, then they start throwing in corporate slop or political crap to pull the rug from under you.
Welp, okay, I'll check it out eventually, it'll be nice to see a good Cyclops for once - but the art in the show has been a turn off since I saw the first trailer. The cleanness of it - it really does remind me of the animation from the last season of the 90's X-Men cartoon, and that isn't a compliment
Ok the first glaring difference I noticed during the intro is Storm is sporting the mohawk. Truthfully, I like the mohawk but sorry not sorry this was not a stylistic choice but done to reduce her "male gaze"-ness/hetero attractiveness. The mohawk was part of a package with the 80s leather jacket costume. It also made sense story wise as Storm was living underground with the Morlocks at the time and having long flowing hair had so many liabilities, such as lice, being impossible to care for and importantly eminently grabbable during those pesky duels. 90's flappy Storm needs long, messy hair as its more representative and symbolic of an actual storm. Beautiful chaos. If me, who came up with this observation in a few seconds of watching, how can this series show any care or depth besides surface paint?
Storm's mohawk is one of the most iconic hair styles in comics and you're talking about her looking less attractive? Its clear they're going for her most well known story and look, but just had the one model so they're using it You're reading too much into it
This is what I've been hearing and at least from these two episodes, there's no signs of wokeness...still, I'm not gonna get Disney+ just for this one show, so it's off to the docks for me if it manages to stay good. XD
The original show was great. There were bad/lame episodes but when you hit a really good episode it's a full on animated classic. BOTH of these premiere episodes are top tier on the show's scale. They are up there with some of the best episodes of the original series and the animation (despite some real rough spots) has a lot of great motion, action and acting in the characters. I was shocked at how much the show FELT like the original. Just great all around.
I’m pretty keen for this now! Especially hearing that the animation is good. I’m a normie and the animated series was my first connection to marvel stuff. It’s pretty sad that we’re in a place where these channels can’t accept the fact that something might be good from Disney/Marvel, like their new religion refuses to allow it.
After seeing you video I've watched the first two episodes and I have to say... You were right. They are excellent. Based on these two episodes I really recommend this show.
Dude, is your chronic cough from acid reflux? If so, why are you not just taking nexium? I used to get horrible acid reflux, I take it once a day, no more problems.
Zack, I agree with your take on this one. This show was good. I could not believe how bad ass they made cyclops look. I have missed that. I can see the original material they are basing these episodes on, and I am ready to go on this ride. More please.
I feel that about Tarzan. I have no love for him. I actually prefer John Carter in his place, having read all the books. But I only became interested because of the underrated movie. The lack of sequels drew me to the source. If we cannot tell these characters well, they will die. Not first forgotten, but lifeless. A lifeless character will be forgotten. Who remembers the Saint or the Stainless Steel Rat?
I was really impressed that these episodes were so enjoyable. I hope that Beau DeMayo was fired for professional standards, and nothing criminally scandalous.
I got a different take. It's just "whatever." It's not great, not terrible. There are some really good points about it for sure. They really did cyclops justice and didn't fuck him over to make someone else look strong. They took away Storm's power - obviously to have her go on a redemption arc, basically playing out wolverine's exit from X-men in Fatal Attractions - which is very much against the grain of constant girl bossing. You have some real writing there. On the other hand the animation is subpar, and they made gambit a bit of a whiney fuck boi. He acts like a 10 year old, which maybe will work with kids more. I found Magneto a little uncompelling but the overall arc of the stories were decent. Nothing to complain about. Overall I'd say the tone is a few years younger than the old x-men but it's fine. Ultimately kids will decide if it becomes a hit or not. It's definitely not for me but I don't see anything really bad about it.
Also I DO talk about the cartoon with people I know. We reference quotes and shitpost memes over the images regularly. Not for this come back.. It's something we've always done. You're probably just half a generation removed by age. It was the cartoon I most looked forward to when I was a kid, more than Batman which was an objectively better show.
I did a review on this on my livestream last night. I also was pleasantly surprised ,actually shocked! That being said D+ Marvel shows do have the history of sometimes starting good and then falling apart. This show definitely stands out In comparison to shows like the Bad Batch that is 8 episodes in and hasn't really moved the plot forward since the first episode. The first episode was ok , and has a lot of exposition ,BUT that 2nd episode is a banger , hell they even have a cliffhanger at the end! I was keeping track of alterations to lore etc and just when i thought , hey you got Nathan Summers mom wrong , ENTER the cliffhanger LOL. There are some minor lore and continuity issues but the original animated show was always a mish mash of different parts of the source material integrated as one, so no change there. Great review! Sorry for the novel 🍻
Yo Zack try some celery juice really good for reflux Yeah, I really hate that “Nobody asked for this” response Nobody asked for Big Trouble In Little China but we got it and it was amazing. Cant wait to watch this!
Having just watched the first two episodes, while I thought it'd be a decent time waster, I didn't expect to enjoy them as much as I did. At first I was cautiously optimistic about it, what with "Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence..." and what not (as you used to quote Ian Fleming back in the day), but so far it really feels like the concerns about woke sjw bullshittery were exaggerated for once. The characters feel like themselves stripped to the most essential bits of them without all the baggage that has made some of their comic book selves muddied and barely redeemable (especially appreciate Cyclops being neither a pushover nor a douchebag). The writing's on point, the character interactions are great, whatever goofiness there is mostly work to the show's charm rather than detriment. The only bit that felt off was Morph using the likenesses of the relatively recently deceased Xavier for a cheap joke and everyone being okay with it, I feel something like that would've warranted a knuckle sandwich from a Claremont era Scott. The animation is really nice, too. I'm a stickler for some hand-drawn, frame-by-frame stuff, and while the show doesn't everything the traditional way, from what I could see it's a nice mix of the former, rigged\tweening and CG animation (I'm no expert, so everyone feel free to correct me). There were some close-ups where I wish the line weighting had more variation or the lines a little more taper to them, but for the most part the visuals delivered, the actions scenes were great and there was even a little bit of sakuga every now and then! Oh, and the guys are buff and the girls have actual curves! Nary and approved body type in sight! Yeah, I know about the meme with Rouge's butt, but to be fair, she wasn't that caked up all the time in the OG cartoon either. SPOILERS ahead for this last bit, but the bit that has really sold this for me was Storm losing her powers. The bit with Ororo being frightened by the thunderstorm followed by her anguished look of something that was part of her becoming foreign, it was something else. Combined with the irony of her earlier saying she sometimes wished she knew what being human is like, it's just a level of poignancy I did not expect form current day Marvel. Overall, I pleasantly surprised at how much I'm actually enjoying this. These days I barely check out any new Marvel stuff, as shifting through all that septic sewage for a few gems doesn't seem worth it unless some of you guys recommend something hard enough (like those Thanos and Beta Ray Bill minis for a while ago), so it's an oddly nice feeling to look forward to X-Men after all these years. Unless they royally screw the pooch with the following episodes, I'll be watching it till the end, and hope it will herald an improvement in quality for Marvel. Jerks like Brevort can still kick the bucket, though.
Excellent comment. I also found Storm's loss very moving, I may have even teared up a bit. One note regarding Morph impersonating Xavier: my impression is that the WORLD thinks Xavier is dead, but the TEAM isn't offended because they know he was just taken away by Lilandra to recuperate, and the death certificate is just for legal/will purposes.
@@faynarawn4164 Thank you! Oh, Xavier's actually in Lilandra's care? That does put things into perspective. It's been almost a decade since the last time I had watched the OG toon and didn't get the chance to marathon through it before '97, so my memory's pretty hazy about the happenings in the later seasons. But yeah, even as someone who's found the emotional investment some people have into the MCU a little excessive, I was surprised how much the scenes mentioned have managed to move me. Just a few months ago I was pretty much fine with not giving a crap about all these characters that were with me pretty much since I knew how to walk, so to once again be able to get excited over something X-Men related is a blast! Between this and Deadpool 3, it looks like I may not have to give up entirely on the House of Ideas just yet.
I watched the first episode like a cat with it's hair on end, and I was pleasantly surprised. By the end of episode 2 I'm now intrigued. There was some voices and animation I didn't care for, but overall (and especially in light of today's low standards) it was a decent start. I'm sure Magneto's trial costume is going to be some kind of gay icon
“Nobody asked for this” OMG thank you. If you didn’t ask for it, don’t watch it That said….if the creators are vile vile people, I do have a decision to make. But I do lean heavily with separate the art
I agree with your assessment of both the original and the revival. I respect a man who can rise above his biases - especially since there have been a number of conservative commentators trashing this show because Rogue's ass isn't big enough. There wasn't anything to complain about but I would like it if the show introduced a bit more nuance into Cyclops & Wolverine's relationship as there is in the comic. Personally, I didn't get the gay vibe.

@@lexruthless8263agreed
Claremont the GOAT! His tenure on one book and run will never be upended. So many plot threads pulled from his pre-existing stories by Niceiza and Lobdell. I appreciate the 2 of them tried to carry on the Claremont run. Unlike the multiple reboots we've forgotten ever since
He did during an issue where he was playing basketball and ended up blowing up Rogue with a charged up ball.
Now we know why the showrunner was fired: he dare to make a good Disney series, accordingly to Zack. And he may be right.
I can't put into words how good it is to see Cyclops done right after decades of dogshit. I've never seen such a 180 on a character happen in real time.
Honestly, I was impressed with most of the cast. Storm was excellent.
I just hope they stay the course and this level of quality persists for the rest of the season.
I know I'm slow, but where can I watch this?
@@ArionNoble Disney+ I think you can even get a 30 day free trial
Without DeMayo as showrunner I don't see half of season 2 or season 3 being any good.
@@MrCarlosj0 I'll be happy if we get 1 good season. I'm not sure if this current one won't crap the bed mid-season.
@@vitaminrstudios I just want to see Cyclopse not shat on and The Trial of Magneto done well. And an actual Cable not the Cable we got in the old series.
I have seen a lot of complaints about magnetos costume, but that is literally what he was wearing in the Trial of Magneto issue (uxm #200).
I thought it looked weird as shit, but yeah it's from the comics
I’m convinced that these characters are 3D meant to look 2d , with lots of 2d principles going on . I really do wanna see how this was made .
it's Studio Mir, so that is exactly how they are doing it. Really good NPR with hand animation fixes and cleanup.
I’ve seen a lot of 2D and 3D animation. This looks like 2D animation
@@nickclarkartstudio Mir specializes in 2D not 3D animation
I forgot that one man's worth were old x men episodes that inspired the Legion Quest story arc. Then turned into Age of Apocalypse.
Some channels don't want to eat crow because the show turned out to be good.
2 episodes are out, settle down lol
@Mailman029 could be said to your lot and those channels
Heard nothing but woke this woke that and it will be trash, but now it's looking good, the excuse now is "Wait until episode 4!! That's when the MESSAGE TM will come out"
The animation looks stilted and that is my biggest problem 2 episodes in. Sometimes it looked borderline like Archer. I understand you felt it looked great, but as an animation consumer, it didn't look good compared to what I remember from the original series.
I watch a ton of animation. I liked the old show a lot. But going back to watch it is rough. It does not hold up very well, even for the time.
@SuperFlyGhost I wasn't trying to say the old show was great animation, more that the style of the new show was off for me.
havent seen the episodes myself, but going off the trailers, looked like 3D models with 2D traced over to me. If even traced. Might've just been a really good 2D filter. Either way, that's probably whats setting it off for you. 3D models only bend so far, 2D drawn frames might technically be imperfect in terms of being 100% on model but they'll always feel more alive.
you think the 90s animation was good? it had good parts but the animatio. of that show was janky
You're 100% letting you're nostalgia get the best of you, the og animation was super rough with tons of reused shots
I watched it and afterwards I was like, "Am I crazy or was that actually good?" It's so unexpected that I doubted myself.
Should be called, "X-men: Last Known Good."
The original series didn’t have that great animation especially at the time with what Warner and Disney were doing for TV animation
Yeah, these day I dread seeing old shows returning.
When you talked about a new generation liking X-Men so that they don't fall out of pop culture I immediately thought "the kids have to like it"
Last night my eldest son (6) caught the last half of episode 2, I left auto play on so the original series started playing and he kept watching, this morning he says "I want to watch X-Men".
I just rewatched x men origins Wolverine last month and it was amazing !!! We were so spoiled with good movies back then
Yes, we really were. I notice the same watching pre-2015 horror movies.
Ryan, Flash, Gundam, Nerdrotic, and a slew of content channels had so much to say, now that it's come out just crickets
So, you're saying that it was so bad that watching it caused you to have a horrible acid attack that put you in the hospital, got it.
The Inbetweening in the first cartoon was painfully .
I hope you feel better soon and your throat can make a bit of recovery. Stay healthy and safe boss. 🙏
When you describe tracing over the 3d model, are you referring to something like rotoscoping?
Straight stuff happens? Are we sure this is Marvel?
The director is a follow the lore type of guy. Probably the reason he's no longer there.
Losing weight (obviously not the prob for a lot of people) and sleeping with my head at an obscenely high angle cleared it up for me
Your acid reflux sounds pretty next level.
I was actually surprised by how much I liked it. I'm legitimately curious where they're going with it.
Have you seen the clip of a female singer being interviewed and thinking musicians do magic.
No idea if it was an Andy Kaufman style joke where the audience isn't in on it.
Did you ever try the unique tasting whole earth or mother earth apple cider vinegar for the reflux?
I am thrilled to hear your review, might I ask if you were on the cold meds when watching? Thanks for the hope!
Ive noticed none of the Star Wars is Dead people havent said anything today. Clownfish TV Kneon said he liked it.
Can we get a review of episode 3
I already planned on watching this and the Cyclops praise just bumped this up on my to do list.
I watched it this morning, it’s not that bad
Its clear they're going for her most well known story and look, but just had the one model so they're using it
You're reading too much into it
@@SpaceandGoats Made the comment before watching the episodes, I've definitely changed my mind on the show. 9/10
This is what I've been hearing and at least from these two episodes, there's no signs of wokeness...still, I'm not gonna get Disney+ just for this one show, so it's off to the docks for me if it manages to stay good. XD
my acid reflux went away when i stopped eating rice, pasta, bread, and fried foods
Just great all around.
have you had and endoscopy performed yet? If not you might need to buckle down and request one from your gastroenterologist
That’s why Disney fired the showrunner, because they were deeply offended he made something good.
WB needed to do this with JLU YEARS ago... I'd still take it lol. Can't wait to watch this when I get home...
After seeing you video I've watched the first two episodes and I have to say... You were right. They are excellent. Based on these two episodes I really recommend this show.
Glad to hear X-Men was done right. And I wasn’t a fan of the old series. This sounds better.
I get those wicked acid reflux attacks, too. The best thing I've found is a shot glass full of olive oil.
Tempted to re-up and watch myself now because of the positive portrayal of Cyclops. It's been a rough 15 years.
You said you re-upped on your Disney plus subscription
but watched on your fire stick ?
I have bad acid reflux too, largely brought on by anxiety, so I know the struggle of sleepless nights! Keep the antacids handy, my friend.
Stainless Steel Rat should be adapted to TV or movies.
Isn't X-men 2 just God Loves Man Kills? I thought you hated that book. Hope you feel better man, so glad you're back again
I was really impressed that these episodes were so enjoyable. I hope that Beau DeMayo was fired for professional standards, and nothing criminally scandalous.
I’m actually interested in seeing this now. Well done!
Does X Men 97 look 3d to anyone?
The original series' 2 episodes featuring Nightcrawler would never be made today. When's the last time you saw an
Yo Zack try some celery juice really good for reflux
Yeah, I really hate that “Nobody asked for this” response Nobody asked for Big Trouble In Little China but we got it and it was amazing.
Zack is 💯 percent correct. Crickets from the CDs, NRs, YRs and HvBFs…

Insect. You dare defile our sacred chamber......AGAIN.
Zack's cough! Damn its stomache acid related.
