  • Bakeries in Ecuador are amazing. They have great bread and incredible desserts. Pastelerias and panaderias can be found in every small town in Ecuador. There are many traditional desserts that Ecuadorians love. In this video I am going through a few of them as I slowly become diabetic. We're ordering up 5 traditional Ecuadorian desserts, a couple cups of coffee, and a gabazillion eggs at one of the best traditional bakeries in Quito., La Union (goo.gl/maps/9c785Ri5ScS7dgCL9). They have a few locations across the city, and they're a great place to try all the baked sweet specialties of Ecuador.
The Latin American desserts featured in this video: Torta de las tres leches, Milhoja, Orejas, Quesadillas, Alfajores.

I never knew what it meant till today...bought some Al Fakher smoking accessories once! I thought it was just some guy's name, turns out it's luxurious or prestigious! Those dudes are totally up to something with all those eggs. Hopefully cake. Giant Baked Baby Cookie sounds kinda creepy too, but still great. nomnomnom.

All Spanish words that begin with "al" originate from Arabic.
