Dallas had a below average game, and a crazy last drive, but the Texans had an amazing game. Really shows what the Texans can do in their prime. Personally as a Dallas fan, this game nearly gave me a heart attack. But GG to the Texans

We had two of our starting defensive backs out and it showed on the chunk plays that we gave up. Cowboys D clamped down when they needed to, though. I'll take the dub, and offense needs to not make it so hard for them.
Dallas was exposed by the Packers when, for the first time in 95 games, they blew a 14-point fourth-quarter lead. They were further exposed last week when the Colts were breathing down their necks at the end of the third quarter.

Any embarrassing win is better than an embarrassing loss…which this almost was. Dak is a different QB when he goes no huddle/hurry up. He doesn’t have time to overthink and call audibles. He just goes out there and plays fast. He has had some great late game comebacks because of it. Glad we got this type of performance out of our way. Go Cowboys.
I've always thought he's a lot better than what the media thinks of him. I think because he has so many endorsement deals and is the face of the most popular franchise people judge him a bit unfairly.

His only flaw is his post-snap reads. Problem is that's the main thing QBs do. I think he let's the media talk and expectations get to him and presses to make big plays. He's gotta reel that in a d then this team can go places despite the other flaws the team has overall

He takes to many risk and makes a lot of low iq throws into double/triple coverage and it leaves me scratching my head. Sometimes you have to take risk but it feels like almost every snap is one with Dak.

So the narrative here is going to be how the Cowboys almost lost to a 1 win team. But let's be honest for a second. When the Texans got that pick within the ten yard line, that turns into a game that the Cowboys usually never come back from. They always choke it out somehow, but not this time. Both defense and offense was able to pull it together to get the win in the end.
That does give me faith going forward. It isn't about how you start it, it's about how you finish it.

I love Dallas but this is the kind of performance I had in mind when everyone was talking about the Superbowl and how good Dak is a week ago.
I am a Dak fan but I always expect a performance like this every few games. He's either hot or cold, rarely a middle ground. Thankfully he was able to pull it all together for that last drive.
I fear this is another one and done year. We can't stop the run half the time and we never know which QB is gonna show up. We don't have the strongest secondary either... It just doesn't add up to a Superbowl caliber team IMO. And as much as I like Dak, seems like a good dude and has his moments of greatness, I don't think Dallas sees a Superbowl with him as QB. Hurts to admit, but he should be more consistent at this point in his career and you have to have that consistency to make it all the way.

Dallas fan here. Turpin made the game closer than it needed to be. Texans played great defense was heavy hitting. Very suprised at the Texans resolve. A win is a win

Dak is so overrated like that Romo clown. Neither can win in the playoffs. Brady and Mahomes make winning look so easy and Dak hasn't even played in a NFC championship game. Dak is pushing thirty so if he doesn't know how to win in the playoffs by now, he ain't gonna learn. I'm a Cowboys fan but I have to call it as it is. Mahomes made it to three AFC championship games, two straight Bowls and won a ring. Does anyone really think that Dak can match Mahomes accomplishments at this point in Dak's career?
