This song is from Hunger Games and was originally sung by Lorde. Peter arranged this and did an outstanding job. These guys are really making a name for themselves now.

Always enjoy your reactions! This song went straight to my earworm file, and I can't seem to stop listening to it! I love the arrangement and the blend of their five voices. Peter did some amazing things with this one!

This one is so good. Peter really showing his skill off in this arrangement he made. And I love it. He’s so talented. They’re all so talented, it’s crazy- idk how tf they do it.

This us soooo epic. Love the leather jackets. The visuals suit this song and OMG the bass notes rattle my bones. Just really am impressed by these guys and I am a big fan of Colm too. Definitely a gathering of Dragon Lords

    Thank you Dave 😊
I love how you talk about music.
You (like most of us) don't know all the technical terms but you still find a way to explain it 🙂

Before anyone thinks I am disapproving of this song, I absolutely love what these guys have done and always have. The arrangement came off as (presentationally) somehow disjointed. I can’t quite find the right term for the feeling I experienced after watching the video. I felt a sense of overemphasis on the melodies and then the eerie sounds made the song sound like it was in a minor key or something (sort of felt like diminished chords), yet they were not in actuality. I am certain that the eerie vibes were intentional. Yet, there are some subtle aspects of experiencing disjointedness with the melodies, bass, and rhythm that didn’t mesh quite as well with the layering and the overall structure of the song. Nonetheless, I still think it was well done. Don’t get me wrong, I love these guys and the Bass Gang. I extremely rarely ever have criticism with songs, especially with Tomi P.

Lorde sang this for the Hunger Games-Mockingbird Pt. 1 soundtrack.

Such a good reaction (as usual)!! I hope you’ll also check out Peter Barber’s new one on his channel. He really went all out and it’s amazing!
I just love all of TBG’s new releases. These guys are all great at arranging. This song brings out the best in all their voices. And it’s perfect for Colm’s voice.

Thanks for the commentary! To me, it sometimes felt like what I was seeing was not well connected to what I was hearing. What singers were shown, in what positions, in what size seemed somewhat random and confusing at times. And the red effect for "I'm done with it all" at 1:45 seemed odd as well, like a small part of a discarded idea.

I feel like the voices on this weren’t as blended as they’ve been. I heard a lot of tomi and not much of the others. normally i can follow along with each voice through the entire song. bobby and marwan kind of got drowned out imo. and i feel there wasn’t a whole lot of colm, tomi looked more like the guest singer instead. Still think they rocked it though!!
edit: i take back everything i said, the more i listen to it, the better it gets!! just another showcase of the incredible talents these four(plus colm) have!

Tomi? Peter is the highlight! We rarely hear his opera vocal capabilities that well. The belting and sustain in this!
