ohh so you were doing that... I heard the opening line and was wondering who Joe was for a really long time! (it probably was a big mistake to ask that question on teh Internets)
I think this is my favourite from this Vol 3 EP. So clever how they incorporated Marwan by having him in the lamp and the effects of him appearing from it - really well done. I love the energy of this and the fact that Bobby was showing more of his range. He really nailed those higher notes! Apparently he's been working on that higher end of his range and both he and Peter have been working on I think it was the "false folds" bass technique to get those gruffer, darker bass notes. Whatever they've been doing is certainly paying off. Great reaction as always 😊
Man I wish I could do the opposite, my lowest chest is a D2 or C#2 depending on the day, any lower and I can only hit it with false fold subs or chest fry in some way. I never really got down the standard subharmonics and I can growl but I am not the biggest fan of incorporating it. I have always messed with beatboxing so hitting the gruff false cord subs is somewhat natural, the softer standard ones you would hear from any of these guys is so tough for me.
Love this jazzy arrangement, and Bobby's solo lows and highs, the costuming, the coreography.... Great job, Bobby! But poor Marwan, he just couldn't manage to get out of that lamp.
Thanks for the comments on my beatboxing! Appreciate it 🙏 🗣️
Any time!

Bobby has been putting in the work on his high mix for sure!

This is for sure the best song they've done so far
