I can travel 100skms in my country and still not leave my province. I'm in BC Canada. The region I live in BC is the same size as South Carolina but with only 63k people.

I did several x-country trips in the US and also occasionally slept in my car parked between trucks at truck stops and rest stops -- saves a nite in a hotel/motel and there's a bathroom nearby -- one time was during a raging thunderstorm in the Florida panhandle, that was cool

I have a friend from the US, he visited Russia and Ukraine several years ago and it was ok for him. Nothing bad happened. He doesn't even speak Russian, except for a couple of words. Maybe now is a bad time to visit Russia, but if the war ends and Russia survives, then you are welcome.

I have visited most of the Golden Ring including cities like Ples, Pereslavl and Aleksandrov. Most recently I took my twins and my niece and sister in law on a cruise on the Volga to Uglich, Kostroma, Ples and Yaroslavl and took the twins last year to Vladimir and Suzdal.

The architecture there is amazing! Just beautiful. I was in Europe in the military but I never got to travel that far North. I always wanted to visit Russia but our countries are not the greatest of friends and that is sad. I pray that God will bless you and keep you safe and that the war ends very soon.

I used to dream about traveling to Vladivostok all the way from central Europe. One of the people I know did that. He travelled for more than 30 000 km total.
Just when I think I've found the most beautiful Russian RUclipsr I always find another one :S, I started learning the Russian language mid last year with the goal to travel there this year, so I'm conversant now, but guess what? Traveling there is not practical/possible now

They say if you want a traditional woman you have to go out of the U.S. and thats what I did.
