My name is Eric and I travel with my cats, “Tara” & “Opie” in a 24ft 2001 Ford Tioga RV named “Freeda” and tow either a 2014 Smart Car named “Tater Tot” or my 2012 Harley Softail Slim named “Black Betty” in a 6x10 trailer. We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round since 2010.

Opie is so handsome! Tara has really blossomed. When you first got her, she stayed hidden and didn't welcome pets. Now you can tell she's relaxed and likes getting pets. You're a good cat dad. Enjoy the races!

My husband and I were there, at Atlanta, for the ‘Last Race of the Century’ in November, 1999! I think Dale Jarrett won the Championship. (Yes, I know I’m showing my age, lol) It was in the 50-60° degrees average, and the people from the south were hilarious wearing thermal coveralls and coats!! We’re from NE Ohio, and that was great weather for November, for us 😆🤣 Enjoy yourself, you’ve got a great spot!!! 🏁

We just got our first Travel trailer and our first trip is going to be Atlanta in the infield in July! This video helps me to know what to expect as far as RV searches!

Talladega's infield is MASSIVE and the races there are just plain crazy! (There's even an airport in the middle of the infield!)

When entering the infield at an SMI owned track, security will inspect your camper and tow vehicle. Prohibited items are: Firearms,Fireworks,Firewood and Ammunition. If you refuse inspection they will not let you in the infield. If any prohibited items are found,you will have to surrender them to security.

Looks like you are going to have some great fun, despite chilly weather. Question? What do you do if you are RVing with 'prohibited items'? If you have a glass jar with pickles in the fridge or an umbrella or steak knives were those confiscated? Just curious how to travel with such items. Thank you for your wisdom.

Try Kennesaw Mountain is a sight to to see or Stone Mountain Ortega further trip North to Helen Georgia or even go up to Chattanooga Tennessee to Lookout Mountain try the Raccoon Mountain campsite

I always wished I hadn’t had a birthday in such a cold windy month. I prefer warm weather but Ya never know what you get in Georgia day to day. Sometimes hour to hour 🤷🏻♀️

Welcome to the south enjoy southern hospitality. You are only about 200 miles from me in NC. You should try out the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord NC just out side of Charlotte. The World 600 race. Wishing safe travels and fair weather. Very popular hamburger 🍔 place down town called the Varsity it is an experience 😅 close by the college.
