Hi... Battery size is "AAA" , 1.2 volt, 750 mAH. This is the actual battery specification. But in my case, i couldn't find batteries with same specification. So i brought "AAA , 1.2 volt with 1100mAH". It is working well. Thanks for watching.

Do you need a battery with solder tabs? Or is a normal AAA battery ok (with no solder tab)?

Thank you for the tutorial! I ordered "Eneloop AAA 750 mAh" batteries from a Dutch webshop called NKON.
Soldering the batteries was the hardest part. My soldering iron clearly did not have the right wattage. Also remounting the rings took me a while.

Thank you, needed to know how to take the top cover off. my button had some issues and basically failed due to the dumb idea of putting a rubber gasket that wears out over time so I just stuck some thick double stick tape in there and it should last now until I need new tape

1:20 is the important part. slide it down, not up (also works for bt5200). Otherwise you'll break the hinges. Also, the top assembly with plastic rings: look with the light inside the scroller ring and align the plastic bump with a hole at number 10. It's not perfectly 10, there is a slight shift 1mm.
    Thanks for the video, btw!

What a shitty design.... Doing a complete dissassembly just to get to the batteries.

    • @aniki937

200% agree bro. They do this on purpose so most people who are not confident enough to replace it will buy another one. It should be illegal, just like unibody phones

When you know that a battery normally used will last 2 years max, that's truly a shame

Vorsicht.

Danke

Thanks! I fixed the BT5200. I used Panasonic Eneloop AAA 750mAh. Edit: I have recharged the trimmer after replacing the battery. Today, after 10 minutes of shaving, the trimmer started to weaken and the red LED was blinking. Why so short?

Useful video but there is a cut where you remove the batteries. Mine are stuck in the top end somehow, I can pull the bottom end out about 1cm. Maybe they are soldered at the top? Also, it's confusing why you solder at the circuit board, is that really necessary?

    • @vetrelec4

yes, thats the important part missing - you need to solder, there is no other way...))

Hello... Thank you... This was really helpful. I am facing a problem; after replacing the battery, I couldn't turn off the device. Had to let the battery discharge before fitting everything else in place. Something on the motherboard caught fire that must have been responsible for failure of the switch. Can you confirm.

Didn't work for me I'm afraid. The bit from 1:45 onwards, I have tried to disassemble it with a screwdriver and no matter what, it will not open. I do however have the BT5260 model, but it appears to have been configured in the same way as the model in the video.

You can use popular Sanyo 2xAAA NiMh 750mAh - it's better then no name battery. I used it and BT5270 works perfect and long on battery.
