I have one, love it. They are coming out with the STK150 and STK200. As for the clamshell design there was a lot of controversy about that but I have yet to hear of any failure related to that design. I did put a lighter recoil rod/spring in mine. It ran fine with the stock one, the change was a matter of preference. My EDC is a Kimber as well by the way, an R7 Mako.
Great idea to use the talon tape. It's interesting that there is market interest in alloy framed versions of polymer frame guns (RI STK, S&W M&P Metal, etc.). Nice video! I appreciate the content and honest reviews. 3 of a kind.
I like it.. pretty nice looking pistol... im not big on the look of a stock glock, so this is a nice step forward for a custom peice... three of a kind
Even though my RIA requires some TLC, I'm still kinda in love with it. I like what you did towards the end with the 3 of a kind, but I'm too stingy to join or Patreon anything. Will still subscribe and follow you with interest, as I am local (big fan of Middletown Firearms) and you seem to be a realistic critic, and I do crave that in the gun world. Carry on, good hunting, and all that!
I've tried shooting this on the range and I did not experience any failures (jams, failure to extract, misfeeds, etc.). Though I'm still having second thoughts of getting one but if RIA can address the issues of this gun I might get it. I carry a cz p10c and also own an Armscor MAPP1 (CZ 75 clone?🤷🏽♂️ hehehe). Oh, the gun wasn't mine, I borrowed it from a range buddy, and 3 of a kind!😄😄😄
This is a great piece... my only gripe is the durability of the frame screws.. I have heard a few horror stories about them, which has pit a damper on my acquisition of one
Some say to use loctite on them I think once you break it in, it's just like a lugnut. Tighten them again after so long and they'll seat in. I've shot my STK100 about 100 rounds and no issues so far.
Bad boys has long rails. It should shoot well and pretty flat. I’ve always found guns with longer rails seem to return to sight picture faster, to me anyway and I’d say I have well over 350k to somewhere north of 500k on .9mm. Nope! Not giving you specific round counts! Get to shooting them bad boys. You got some catching up to do with this old man! Keep up the good vids! You do a damn fine job at it! 👍🏻🇺🇸
III of a Kind-of, hmm!? So, I was all ready to be interested in an STK 100 until another guy did a review that "nailed it" to a cross for me, your review is more recent and still has me ??? about this piece, like does it have a 1:10 barrel & do the fasteners need Loctite to prevent them working their way out? .... Failures to extract? Granted it looks good & the other guy said it's smooth shooting, but that's just not good enough if it has a list of problems to be sorted out after purchase. Guess I'll just wait and see.
They're coming out with the new stk200. Clamshell but they hid the screw in the grip panel. Better grip texture and design. New tech in the finish. Does not scratch easy using coin.
I've seen this firearm a few times. Was always skeptical because it looked like another polymer "clone" of something. This was a good informative review. Knowing it's alloy, I think I'll take a shot at it. 😏Pun intended. Very much appreciate the review. 3ofakind👍🏾
I was hopeful when this first came out, but the reviews were in the 'meh' range. It will be interesting to see if this one is a runner. Why are all the cool kids buying hi points? Did I miss the meeting on that? and yes, I watched to the end.
Pls pls give some parts of glock that can be fited to the stk like firing pin and recoil...extractor or conector...no one give us that...from philippines..thank you sir...i have one coming and it will be my first gun...here glock is 2x the price...ive search alot how can i improve and upgrade the gun for months...i cant find any..please help us..

I think the frame resembles the Taurus TH series/PT series pistols frames!
I love this pistol. I have extended mags for it with a red dot. It's been my carry for the past 4 months.

A metal framed Glock with a proper grip angle?
Once again, Glock getting out Glocked by the competition.
I like what you did with the grips. I'm still in the trial process. I want to like this gun. 3 of a Kind.

PSA recently started making a 45/19x clone as well. Looking forward to how well the micro dagger runs once it’s been fully released.
Three of a kind and a hell lot different love your videos man
Are those talon grips precut for stk100? May I know where u got them? Or did u cut them by yourself?

You are correct buddy!
Any tips on how to prevent jamming?

I might have a lemon. I can’t get through 5-10 rounds without a light primer or failure to extract.
Just saw the New STK 100 Ultra.

Who offers threaded barrels and possibly a different twist rate for this gun?
Will aftermarket barrels work from Glock?

Yes I just bought one yesterday
