It could have been cleaned up when they mixed it for the DVD as well, but Conor has an amazing voice and certainly knows when he's capable of still singing and when he shouldn't push it, so I'm sure he took proper precautions before the show to make sure his vocal chords were well rested.
I offer my vote and support for this to be released as a live concert for both audio and Blu ray/dvd. There is clearly a killer concert here that I sure as hell want to see and hear more of. (Sorry for ending that sentence with a preposition)
