Well I was thinking of the 505 n800 but I think it would be pretty cool to have these actually three pedals set up together and of course envelop all your effects with the sound you want yeah you can go crazy train or whatever it seems to encapsulate all the amps I have without having to hook all of them up together and of course blowing the roof s off all the houses in the neighborhood
Its almost hilarious and at least pathetic how Behringer jumps on the UAFX Train. I can wait until UA comes out with some Hi Gain Amps. I think we‘ll see them before Christmas.
I think Dave Friedman tone talked the other night was saying something about their favorite pedals the three of them that were on that show that night was the evh pedal
I prefer the Tech 21 British to the JIMS 800. Heck, I even like the Guvnor, Shredmaster, or Drivemaster into the Cab M+ (preamp on the Cab M+ turned off).
God now I want to go to my aunt ambience man that was always fun going over there she made finger sandwiches she made lemonade she made chocolate fudge and brownies and everything you can imagine cookies and cakes and chocolate muffins to and little albacore tuna fish sandwiches Pumpernickel Rye
That actually sounds like my 1980s JMC 800 when you have it on just 12 pretty flat sound in but you know articulating enough what the really nice marshalee clean sound you know just to have that Marshall sound before you start adding more Dimension to it tweaking it of course just a really basic nice Marshall generic sound
Yeah and I have a ton of power amps and I guess you were using a TC Electronics preamp? But I guess you can use any kind of a preamp and blow this to a configuration of all kinds of different speakers which I have those also and probably don't have to worry too much about all the impedances maybe just running around 16 ohms or 8 ohms and of course in Stereo and probably get the same time you're getting here
Great video! Question about using these pedals with the plethora. Since these do not have an fx loop, do you place the plethora before the ampworx? In a live setting, I’d love to use my plethora x5 AFTER the ampworx and then to mixer, but would I then have to use the non-DI out? Or could I run the DI out to the plethora and then to the mixer? Thanks!
You’re on the correct path 🙂 for this video I have the Ampworx DI out going into Plethora then into my interface. If I’m going to use it with a real guitar amp, I’ll move the cable from Ampworx DI to regular out the then entire rig’s oitput goes into the amp’s effects return
Interesting, thanks! I wasn’t sure if I’d need a separate DI box AFTER the plethora when going to the mixer, or if I could just go DI Out > Plethora > mixer.
@@michaelgkane I guess you can also put it into the loop of the plethora then you can use compression or whatever effect before and after. From another video the IR would not affect the reverb/delay, but you could also use the one in the plethora x5 too - there are several there - and if I am not mistaken you can even load more into there
Salamat sa video mo sir perf! actually, I'm planning to buy amp pedal yung may headphone jack sana since dito lang naman ako sa room at gabi nag guguitar so now nagreresearch palang ako add ko to sa list ko! and btw pinapanuod ko yung music theory playlist mo nasa part 3 palang ako haha newbie palang ngayon lang nagkaroon ng time para mag aral ng gitara ehh

how does this work if I want to use the clean channel on my marshall jcm2000 instead of the clean channel of the dual wreck while being in a pedalboard?
You don't. You can plug into a monitor and pretend this is your amp. The benefit is that you get an amp sound with a speaker simulation and don't have to carry an amp around
@@PostColorGear you just can buy amp and don’t need to be pretending. Ha Ha Ha. Monitors, pc , sounds fun. For example . On the second market you can found tube combo. Oh i wouldn't say that, not everyone plays Black Metal only. These should work nice as clean pedal platform, for post-rock or whatever. I also use the clean channel of my Engl amps more than the hi-gain aswell, but it's always nice to have thick gain sound for heavy riffs

That dual wreck so sick sound dude , great review🤘
I can tell you have a great passion for this instrument. Great playing & sound!
Thank you very much!
The red channel on the 800
Is pure 80s hair metal goodness
Hey Perfecto, José from TC here. Phenomenal review as usual! Since you mention you’re a Marshall guy, what would be your ideal amp model + setup?
The Combo Deluxe (65' => 65 feet)
Hey Jose! Thanks for the comment and I’m glad you liked the video!

Before this video I knew I needed the dual wreck and the 550 but after the video I know I need the Jim’s 800 to 😂
It'd nice to see these compared to the Laney IRF
As a marshall type of guy, Idk why I liked the sound of 550...
It’s like a great combination of the Dual Wreck and 800
Body of the 800 with the sizzle of the dual rec. Beautiful
I like the 550. Chunky and crispy haha.. Want to try it with more mids for lead boosts❤️❤️❤️
Loved this premier and would love to see me of it sir @Perfecto De Castro thank you!!! you are awesome and a living legend 🔥🔥🔥
just to add I also personally loved 550 🔥🔥🔥

So far I think you can have fun just rigging up the three of them
