Archer's design, voice and demeanor has always stayed ingrained in my memory. My favorite character. The Score with Archer's curiosity, looking back it feels really epic and wholesome since he wants to go to his home. I thought they were gonna cut to a different scene when they showed the woods picture.
It's one of my childhood films. Castle in the sky and treasure planet are with this in first place. Believe it or not. I always had the opening of castle in the sky in my head but didnt know where it came from until I was 18. It was my first anime I watched with my dad. I watch it now and I can see why I love the films I like.
Two things. 1. I remember watching this movie when I was a kid and I loved it brings back old memories 2. The score for this movie is beautifully done such as this scene where archer is using the computer Who else remembers this and loves the scores
MrSquall95 me too i was like 5 years old when i use to watch this movie . it brings so much memories and i wish i can travel bqck in time to see this again .
Me to my friend,ah Archer as my favorite small hero, because he was so Noble and Wise leader, its just sad that there werent 2 or 3 movies after this 1 film or prehaps comic seagul.Guys do you remmber those aliens from film Aliens in the Attic i personaly think those aliens should have been in Small Soldiers 3 since both Gorgonites and Aliens are small, that whould have been a good fight.
the part when hes on the computer is beautiful, it didnt even need to be included in the scene the cat couldve just came up and they couldve figured out a different way for Archer to find what he thinks is Gorgon... the music and the screen just showing human history always got me idk why such a good moment in this scene...
I really enjoy the relationship between Alan and Archer. Even though Alan tends to get annoyed with Archer, for all things considered, he was still his friend. In fact from the moment he first opened him out of his box, Alan displayed a childlike curiosity towards him and seemed to like him alot better than Chip. He was even baffled at how someone like Archer could be labeled a "bad guy". It was from there, a beautiful friendship was formed. Even though Alan was a teen now and had a bit of record, he still held a bit of innocence left and knew the difference between good and evil.
Movies like this are some of my highlights from my childhood. My Uncle had a home theater and entire shelves of movies so I'd go over there a lot, get to pick a movie out of the shelf, and watch it. It was like having my very own cinema and it was so awesome. One day I'll go back and re-watch all these classic movies from my childhood. So many good movies.

It brings alot of memories back for me and my 26 yr old bro. Me and him watched this together when i was 5, but he was 15 at the time. But it is still one of the greatest memories i had with him, i cant spend any good memories with him now😢
i am now 28 years old i was 2 when this came out. growing up I've seen it so many times. it was such a magical movie to me, i still to this day want a full collection of screen accurate commandos and gorganites 🙏❤️🔥

It's like a part of me just went back to all those beautiful moments and enjoy simple pleasures of life is used to back then 😊❤.
I remember as a kid back in the late 90s using Encarta '98 and after seeing 'Small Soldiers' for the first time I would type "Gorgon" in the 'Find/Search bar only to get a little article about the Greek mythological creature and the 'Mythology and Folklore Collage' feature. It wasn't until some time later that I learned that the location Archer assumes is "Gorgon" is the Merced River at Yosemite National Park in California. The photo he sees is under the 'National Parks and Preserves' title.
Alan is my favorite character. Shout out to Gregory Smith. I done seen him in this movie, Harriet the spy and Krippendorf’s tribe. Can’t believe he’s 35 now!
Because Hasbro owns the license. People have the 3D files for the toys, print them, paint em.. & sell them for like $600. If this movie could get a mainstream resurgence maybe something could happen.

Noone is talking about how deep this scene is. Archer learns from the internet about humanity and then saw his old home land and decides that’s his only freedom. Archer became woke from the internet.
Encarta was my internet before i knew what the internet was.
I think Archer looks like a wolf or something
He looks like the Disney version of the beast (animated version)
I hope my figures do this at night when I’m asleep or out of the house.
And a friendship was born.
A kid and his action figure.
Oh yes indeed 😊❤
This is the only time where house pets dont attack the toys or tiny characters
This is very nostalgic

Oh god, I never thought much of him pressing the right mouse button as a kid, but now it's driving me nuts.
This movie needs a (unwoke) sequel.
I think Frank Langella as the voice of Archer was inspired casting. Frank Langella had played a toy in the 1987 movie Masters of the Universe.

Strange, usually when a toy or doll comes to life in a old movie with kids as the main protagonists. It. Does. Not. End. Well
this movie is a lot much better than Are We There Yet
We're getting closer with Optimus and Megatron able to move and talks.
