This song will never be forgotten by me for as long as I live. It never fails to move me each time I listen to it and it always reminds me of memories and emotions I experienced during the time it was released.
I've loved this song for two years now since summer 2011. That was one of the best summers of my life so this song has a very special place in my heart. There's just something about it, the vocals, the horns, and the lyrics are all on point. I just recently started listening to this album again and it definitely brings me back. :)
Dude, I had the biggest desire to listen to Silly Fathers last night and had to ask my brother this band's name. Rode this morning and I was flying to Down In the Yards, L'Homme and Silly Fathers. Spot on comment.
i love this band so much. took me forever to find out about this though. oh well. i know it now and want to say thank you for you guys being so awesome.. i absolutely love all of your music.
Great music video! Love this song, was afraid that a music video might taint it. But no way, this video is just as complex and interesting as the song behind it. Great job all around guys. I will love you forever.
One of the best band song videos I've seen in years. This approaches Maya Daren (sp?). The drummer is a genius filmmaker already. I'm not into half the band's music....too 'jam' ..and lipsy......but I love the band anyway. I'm an old fart punk rocker....and I think this is genius. As well as the pop song Lady Oh......just amazing people they are. Fucking art ......with riffs. Wish I could even come close!!!! My god this is beautiful.
RUclips compression is doing horrible things to this song On headphones it's hardly listenable cuz you hear exactly how shitty it sounds, even on 1080p resolution :( Do yourself a favor and listen to it on something with better bitrate/compression or better yet buy one of their rec'ds. I did. ) I got Omega La-La and the Bikes single which is a fucking fire song if you don't know already. imho I think the self-titled lp is the best and Omega la la is a close second. Their newer efforts are still good, but they lost a couple of their pretty crucial players including the auxiliary percussionist (you might be surprised how much him rocking out on woodblocks (etc.) added to their sound) and their trombonist and they've gone through at least 4 bassists (that I know of) and honestly the one (played a sadowski fender style i believe) before the dude (plays a warwick) they got now was incredible and probably too good even for rubblebucket, but anyways I think the guitarist even left now or was talking about leaving when I saw them and I remember the rest of the band kinda lovingly referred to him as a dick (haha). They were hella cool cats and I remember we gave them some weed brownies to take on the road with them the second time we saw them.

That last moment feels like an echo of the last moment of their new video for Earth Worship. They love a good intense make out!

Currently my favorite band. Great to listen while bike riding with headphones on.

What do you mean too jam? Just curious, because I haven't heard any improvisation. Not sure that's how you define the style though.
