I think its clear that EtH and United are not a good fit. They may never have been. Numerous factors have led to our current position, but sticking with EtH is not going to get United to where the club wants to be. We cannot include the "players are of a weak mentality and play to get the manager sacked" as the vast majority of the team are currently new players signed/brought in under EtH's tenure.
We wanted a disciplinarian and data coach that keeps up to date with modern football clubs, but hey-ho let's ship another guy out the door so you can all turn on your shiny new toy again in 18 months time.

On defense Rashford and Bruno are a big problem, Rashford doesn’t track back and bottles 50/50’s all the time and Bruno presses like a headless chicken.

FACTSSSSSS. I have been thinking the same thing. He just had a massive transfer window in terms of incoming and outgoings. There are plenty of new faces in this team. Surely, ETH should be given time to get a tune out of them? He's made mistakes tactically, absolutely. However, he needs to be given a decent amount of time to learn from his mistakes and alter his tactics accordingly. At the very least he needs to be given until Christmas.

@kh7688 trouble is, he has had lots of time to show that he's learnt from his mistakes. Playing rashford instead of dropping him is one of them. His in game management is another. That being said, I'm not sure changing the manager would really make a difference long term. I personally feel the root causes are the mentality and ego of the players more than anything else.
Why not keep Rud as a caretaker, push all in for Ancelotti as a manager, keep Rud as an assistant and then let's see what will happen.

If players don’t buy into the manager then those players should be gone. They’ve done that with several managers already. Jose, Ole and now EtH? We get rid of him and the next manager will face the same consequences down the road. Those players will do it to a new manager, guaranteed. We won’t win a thing or challenge at all with the same players that are a cancer in the dressing room and don’t care about the badge they play for. It’s sickening that players getting paid what they get paid think they can dictate who manages the club. If it’s none one they don’t like they just don’t put in the effort and get him sacked. Rubbish argument. The manager had FIVE transfer windows to get rid of the players he didn’t like and sign the players he wanted. There is no excuse. Furthermore that performance last night wasn’t because one or two players played poorly. It was the whole team. Better question is what is the manager doing with these players in training sessions because they can’t even pass the ball at HOME! It is solely the responsibility of the manager to pick the team that gives him the best chance of getting a result.
