What an interesting video! It's such a different life, hard and original. You have to be able to do everything there: welding, planting, shooting, tending, and so on. I'm looking forward to more videos from your time there! Greetings from Bavaria/Germany
The Hydroplat (3 wheel elevated work platform) at the 12:16 mark is one of my Dad's that he has built. Originally Manning Engineering and then Schulz Repair and Sales. Built in the small Riverland town of Loxton, SA. Was pretty chuffed to see one out in rural NSW 😊
How beautiful is the NSW outback absolutely loving it…it would’ve been awful out there a couple of years ago during the last big drought driving from Broken Hill to Wentworth it was as so dry, how dry, “dry as a dead dingos donga!” No honestly it’s was devastating ❤️ hope the owners benefited from the big wet we’ve had lately. Actually hope your not leaving to soon still heaps to see in this awesome country ❤️
Life is rough in the semi dessert places. Very interesting and fun video. Looks like more fun than sheepherding in the mountains for a summer at least there is someone else around that speaks english. Hope you are having fun and they get a little rain soon. Stay safe and healthy.
Great vid guys. I did the station work thing for a while as a young fella, and looking at maybe having another go at it on my touring adventure starting soon.
This is so much fun to see for someone who lived his whole life in a city! So different from what I am used to. Some time I will experience this by myself. Thanks for sharing! Kind regards from Germany
Boring thumbnail and title. Almost wasn't going to bother watching. I was wrong, fabulous insight into station life, what an experience! Thank-you. Marty from Perth
Hi Guys, First time commenting, long time subscriber. I just wanted to say that I have watched most of your episodes and your both are a refreshing breath of fresh air to me. You both have such a positive outlook on life, always smiling and go to the most beautiful parts of Australia (World). Please keep doing what you do for as long as you can and I'd like to thank you for sharing your travels with us. Thanks Roger
Just came across your channel; and yes have subscribed. Your positive outlook and enthusiasm is great. Hope you enjoy your travels in Australia, I've got family in Melbourne.
Another amazing video, love the out takes LOL. The next part of your World adventure has to be the USA and the big open expanse of the Wild West? Have a great time at the Station, looking forward to seeing what you both get up to😎👍
Wow as someone who barely has room for two cars next to each other the Australian stations look so vastly amazingly peaceful, in a brutally hard working and disconnected kind of way. I think I would like to live and work on one for 6 months such a different life.
What great episode. Really nice work Steph. Love the new barbie. There might be a bit of explaining for non Aussies. "Chooks", and "I love fanny". Totally different meaning in the US.
G'day mate 😉 Thought you'd like these videos and of course you can relate to this life. I was waiting for somebody to pick up on the I love Fanny 🤣🤣🤣 Stephy has a mate in France named Fanny 😜
I told Stephy she needs to say feeding the chickens not chooks as I knew our international audience wouldn't know what the bloody hell she's talking about 🤣
theres another girraween station near inverell bout 30 minutes from grahman was out there pig chasing and ended up coming acroos native paintings under rocks was such a great place to see
Love all your videos, especially the Australian ones which have shown us parts of the country we may never get to see even though we live here. The information you provide is helping us plan our overland trip to Africa.
Starlink satellite is available here now would be perfect for you. Also CEL-FI Go repeaters are a must for rural travel for us. Starlink can work through wifi to your mobile for making regular calls ect.
Great Vid. And for sure a great experience. I’m wondering how the water is kept drinkable in this big tanks…. I can highly recommend to support via Patreon, as the insights there also very, very interesting ;-) Cheers and thanks for sharing
I've got family that live in about 22500 hectares on 2 properties in QLD . 100km from the nearest major town But full Telstra mobile reception is available as is Satellite TV . Nearest neighbours about 20km away
Thanks so much mate. We'll make the big decision later this year or early next year. I guess it will have to be wherever travel is going to be the most accessible and the least restrictions on movement...
Yappies? Is that the same/similar to crawfish? We eat those here in Louisiana. Leigh, be careful you don’t fall in love with a Land Cruiser out there! Haha!
Yabbies. Yes exactly like crawfish. I used to work with a heap of guys from Louisiana and learned all about Crawfish 😉 The Toyota's are ok but we're Land Rover for life 😜
@@GrizzlyNbearOverland and it is not currently available in mobile form outside of Ukraine. Starling is first focussing on getting critical mass in urban areas. In theory, once it is profitable and they have enough sats up it might be an option.
Surprising Frenchy did not do a close up on that cochons wedding tackle.....as a tip for the Australian chap. While in Australia Frenchy could do a course in video making....particularly continuity.....
I grew up in a Farm, loved every moment of it, waking up with that musk (not Elon) is something else, one day I will return. Freedom and peace from a country with no Army to everyone. ¡¡Pura Vida!! You are living the good life mates!!!

Hi, Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Really enjoying watching.
Are you planning to visit Victoria? There’s lots to see and take in.

We went to Mildura the other day 😉
Definitely going to spend an extended period in Victoria later this year.

Thumbnails and titles are always the hardest. Thanks for the honesty. Out of curiosity what thumbnail and title would you of chosen?
It's mind-boogling to see the distances in Australia.

Super intéressant ! Ça fait envie ! Pas de problème de voisinage la au-moins 😍
Baja California is epic four wheel camping :)
Absolutely. Actually I visited Baja many years ago and traveled all the way to Ensenada. One day we will have our FWC on a beach in Baja for sure.
Mon grand-père était forgeron au plus grand ranch au Canada. C'est important de savoir d'où vient la nourriture.

Hi, Great vid, and love you show, we have been watching for 18 months. I think we drove near there last June near Menindee on the Darling River?
Love you guys. Hope you are coming to the USA. Travel safe.
My ignorance of Australian geography and failing to visit wouldn't have thought NSW to have any desert. Cheers to you for the lesson.

There are downstream water filters after the tanks to ensure the water is safe to drink 😉💦
@@leighdearle5965 Oh cool. I thought it must be something like i filter, but couldn’t imagine what in this dimension. Thanks!
@@porcobene_media it's a series of filters and they're very big 😉

Bonjour,je vote pour l’Amérique .🥰😘
Beautiful team and can I get contract for work?
Starlink is probably available there now!
Have you guys looked into starlink for internet?
We did mentioned it to the station owners and they are looking into it. for ourselves we don't really have anywhere to put the big satellite dish.

What place!!
How do keep the bananas fresh they go soft quickly
we don't. haha. Most of the time we keep them in the fridge but we the roads are rough they bruise straight away. We use them in smoothies.
@ ok yes my wife went on with “how on earth you manage to keep them soft” 🤔 so l told her l would ask. Many thanks 👍
how does one get a job working on a big station like that
Amazing! Here in Africa you'll never be able to collect your weekly mail delivery. It will be stolen.
